He pushed her in the water, and pushed me past my limit. They probably didn't know she existed until they stumbled out of the woods, and heard the word "lesbian".

And I stood up, spun around, and stormed across the dock to find myself face to face with the guy who pushed her in. He was laughing hard. Not for very long though. With the first chance I got, I punched him straight in the nose. He fell onto the dock with an 'umph', and I heard the others shouting.
"Holy shit! Let's bail!"
"What about Austin?"
"Nobody cares, I'm saving myself, let's go!" And they ran into the woods.
I heard Madison resurface, and I turned to help her.
"W-what happened to him?" She said with a cough and a shiver, as she looked over at Austin. I pulled her out of the water, and put my jacket on her.
"Nothing you should worry about." I said gently. "We should probably leave."
"D-did you r-really mean what you said b-back there?" she whispered as she snuggled further into the jacket that I put around her shoulders.
"W-we did just meet, but to be completely honest, you're a great kisser." I turned to see that she was smiling, and blushing a lot. "We should probably get you home now." I giggled.
