You loved birthdays and surprises more than anything else in the world. Getting a surprise party together was something that occupied your mind for quite some time now. Alex turned 23 and giving that he was your boyfriend after more than one shared kiss on the set it got pretty serious between the two of you. Despite that, you weren't that long together but every day you saw him show up your heart skipped a beat and he didn't hide it away for the whole cast to see how much he adored your innocents and your always positivity. And how this all started, you fell for Ivar the first time he came on that tv screen, you curled up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and a fluffy blanket. With your career as an actress you got to the cast solicitation for the fifth season. Against all your wildest dream you got the role of a Christian princess, you got the epic journey to work so close to your favorite fiction character . Falling in love all over again with that ruthless Viking leader was your actually job and today you would shoot that last scene, even the most steamed one after whole weeks and months of shooting. And on his birthday, wasn't he the most lucky guy in the universe. The first half of the season was already out and just every possible fan there was loved you and him together. But in order to do that you had to convince the whole cast to hold on to those birthday wishes a little longer, giving Alex the idea that everybody forgot in order to give him the surprise of his life afterwards. You knew how bad a liar you where, so it would be a little hard to get around that, certainly when you saw the energetic jump when he jumped out of the trailer that stood on secured ground a couple of minutes riding from the set. Shit, you had to lie and he looked so cheerful today, your head knocked against the steering weal from your car.
'Come one Y/n, be a good liar for once.' You murmured against yourself, looking back up on how he approached. Thinking about that script you re-read yesterday that massive smile showed up on your face when he got in the car. He didn't made place for the formalities like a good morning but instantly pulled you over, the gentleness in his kiss gave you the longing for today's play. 'Good morning.' You whispered against his lips, biting down on it until he groaned a little. That innocent showed up again when you opened your eyes and looked to him. He wanted it so badly; you could see it on his eyes. 'What got you so cheerful?' You asked, pulling back and starting the car. He looked at you, like you were joking. Ignoring his gaze was though but you just started driving, hoping he wouldn't get in to it and god bless, he didn't.

After hours into makeup and dressing you gazed to your own reflection in the mirror, looking to how they turned Y/n into the princess that had fall for the great and fearless Ivar the Boneless. Alex his mood tempered a little with nobody wishing him a happy birthday. 'We are mean.' Marco reacted after seeing Alex walking by, already suited up and taking his first scenes as Ivar that day. You felt already guilty, for keeping it so long away from him. But before you could say anything one of the director his helps showed up.
'The director wants to speak you.' She announced. You nodded and looked back to Marco who got a whole new hairstyle. You pulled a black jacket over your dress and walked out, following the woman to one of the offices they had in this storage room. When you walked in Alex was already there, laying down on one of the couches like he was in a therapy session.
'Good morning.' You greeted the director, giving Alex a short smile he didn't replied. Alright, you felt really guilty now.
'I want to run over the scene you both are gonna play today.' The director came straight to the point.
'Our last one.' You curled up your nose, saddened that this adventure was almost over.
'You took quite the climb Y/n, I couldn't imagine somebody better for the part.'
'Me neither.' Alex agreed. You looked over you seat over to him, he was grinning like an idiot, thinking about the first time you had to face him or kiss him or handle him. You character grew from the most insecure girl to the one who would save his life, strong and captivate under Ivar his affection.
'This scene will ask for a lot of emotions, seeing how popular the both of you are I insist that nothing of this part goes outside this set.' He looked especially at you. Yes, you give something away in the beginning of your career here on set what you should have but you learned your lesson.
'I won't again.' You promised him. Facing fans was always a hard part, certainly when you couldn't say a thing about your character or others.
'This will be your strongest part and Ivar his weakest. After being the weak princess for most of this season I need you to step up as a queen and you Alex,' The director tilted his head with a promising look. When you looked over to Alex he had already some of that Ivar alike arrogance in his eyes, he gave just that kind of smile back. 'Good. Let's do this.' The director announced. He stood up, already walking out and you turned to Alex.
'You ready?' You asked with a smile.
'You forgot my birthday.' Be begun. Your jaw dropped open a little, not knowing he would confront you so directly with it.
'No, I just hold on to it.' You reacted with an innocent smile, walking over to him. He pulled you down in his lap and it felt like you were already on set. 'Do you really think I would forget the birthday of my favorite man. Just be patient for a little longer.'
'I don't know if I can.' His fingers sneaked up around your body and you laid your finger on his lips.
'Hold on, keep it for on set.' You grinned, pulling away from him before he could stall this any longer.
