Ramos's Manor.
Aiden Walker.
Aiden groaned awake, stretching his back and moaning contented. He had a good night sleep, no nightmares or vivid dreams. Ever since that day he screamed his heart out at Mason, he's been dreaming every night, some were nice, but some were frightening, mostly about the mafia boss.
Maybe because Mason avoided him, or it could be his mind was still recovering from what happened. Whatever it was, disturbed his sleep and his mind. He'd spent most of his nights, for the past three weeks, thinking and brooding about him, a lot, begging his eyelids to shut, and his mind to clear all those concerning thoughts.
He didn't see Mason, not even once after that day, and it'd be hard to deny that it upset him. The fact that the man stopped visiting his room had him worrying about things he shouldn't even consider. Maybe his anxiety and worry were what had him have those vivid and lucid dreams. His body must've missed the man's touch, kiss, and grip, and his skin must've longed for those plump lips' kisses, so sensual, lustful, and possessive. This longing scared him.
Aiden was afraid. He was scared of his thoughts, of his mind, and if his attitude towards everything that happened. Wasn't he supposed to hate him? Why was his heart still screaming for him?
Aiden was afraid of this confusing emotion called love.
There was a soft knock, followed by the door to his bedroom opening. Thomas walked in as he'd usually do ever since the day he came to the manor. He and Sam were brought here by one of Mason's men. Aiden was happy that Sam survived that mysterious poison when he received the antidote and was brought here to recover.
Thomas told him that they almost lost Sam when they gave up on the plan of finding the scientist to cure him. The fact that Aiden was caught disheartened them, inducing fear in their hearts of crossing Mason and his mob. Thomas explained how they didn't even put a fight when a man showed up at their doorstep while they were hiding at Dime's place. The latter urged Thomas to flee with him and Luis, but the other refused. He knew that the only chance for him to save Sam and see Aiden again was to surrender.
He did the right thing, which saved Sam.
Adam would visit him every day since he refused to leave the room. He and Thomas clicked so fast, becoming good friends. Maybe part of the reason why Thomas befriended Adam was that they both shared the same interest in literature.
Adam tried and failed to convince him to leave the room. All he talked about was how much Mason has changed. He told him how Mason apologized to both Silas and Derek for what he did to them these past years. Adam went on about how his boyfriend and Mason settled their differences through a fight, in which Silas lost.
