55- All Pointless Shit and Airports

All the notifications I got from Ethan were pointless. Nothing that could answer any of my questions or give me closure or inform me or anything at all.

All pointless shit.

All the texts he sent me were gibberish and made no sense. But I did get a picture of Isaiah and him in the hospital.

Today is the day that I leave for Europe.

I pick up all my stuff *luggage and backpack and phone and headphones lol* and hop into the car. I put my headphones in my ear and soak up the blaring music.

Off to the airport.

Starbucks! I. Need. Starbucks.

The place I'm going to doesn't have Starbucks and I'm leaving for 6 weeks so I won't be able to have Starbucks for a month plus.

I order a venti caramel frappe and drink it while leading my family to our gate.

"Aden let's go!" I call for my younger brother at the other side of the escalator *except these aren't stairs they are the ones that are flat. Idk what they're called lol sorry*

I watch as he goes onto the one that goes the opposite direction of where we want to go. The water fountain.

I watch as he takes his first step ever so confidently and then almost trip because he's going the wrong way.

I watch the look on his face as he tries to turn around and go on the escalator that he should've been on.

The look on his face was enough for me to burst out laughing.

Everyone in the airport was staring at us but we blocked them out.

We arrive at the water fountain and don't know what to do.
We don't even need to go to the water fountain. We just wanted to get out of that gate area and go on the escalators.

"Gate B36 is now boarding. Gate B36 is now boarding" says a woman into a speakerphone.

"Is that our gate?" Asks Aden.

"YES IT IS RUN" I hop onto the escalator and run only to realize that I'm going the wrong way.

I almost fall just like Aden and I try to out run the escalator to get on the other one.

I look over to Aden for help and he's clutching his stomach laughing.

"This isn't funny help"

He's too busy laughing to help.

Finally I get off and get on the right run and run to our gate only to see my parents starting to board the flight.

"Idiot hurry up" I call for Aden.

"Okay okay I'm coming"

And then, we were on the plane.
