Chapter 11: Late night "words"

"Let's go!" I say to Spencer as I get up from my seat and begin making my way to the sacred room.

  Everyone is seated at the table in the conference room. We all grab the case file in front of us as Garcia gets up to explain.

   "Okay I like family reunions at times, but this isn't how I imagine them to be. This is one reunion that I wouldn't like to be." She explains and then shows us the picture of a woman facing down covered in blood.

   "This is 25 year old Andrea Moore, and she was murdered inside her home."

   The photos of her consisted with blood a few feet away from her head. She was faced down and had her eyes closed.

   "The location of the blood and where she's laying, means that she was moved." JJ says.

   "The Unsub must've felt remorse which would be why she's facing down." I stated still looking at the picture.

   "Yeah... Well the 911 call was made an hour later by a 12 year old boy named Chase. And we'll hear the call." Garcia pressing the play button. On the screen appear the words of what is being said.

  Operator: 911, what's your emergency? Hello?  

  *Hears sniffling on the other end*

   Chase: It's my mom.

  Operator: What about your mom? What happened to her?

  Chase: S-s-s-s-he's dead. She has blood coming from her head, and she's not getting up.

   Operator: Okay. I'll need your address to send her help.

  Chase: O-okay.... It's 12923 North Okla Road. Please hurry!

   Operator: Help is on it's way, so please stay put.

   Chase: Okay...

  Call ends

   "That was all that was exchanged between the two."

   "That must've been the worst thing to see." Emily comments.

   "How's the kid doing?" Rossi asks.

   "He's shaken up and they're staying with a mom's friend for the time being. Since the investigation is still going on, and once it's closed may be they'll be handed off to child services."

   "Um.. They? Who are they, Garcia?" Reid asks looking up at her confused.

   "Oh! Chase, Rory, and Amy. Chase has siblings."

   "Did the younger ones see how their mother was?" Hotch asks.

   "According to the detectives they didn't see since Chase covered their faces and escorted them upstairs." Garcia answers.

   "You said this was a family reunion?" Morgan asks finally looking up from the case file.

   "Yeah, because her parents were informed and were on their way to collect her body for the funeral and answer questions."

   "I hear a but in there." Emily points out.

   "Correct! But, they never made it. They were found dead in a motel that was 20 minutes away from their daughter's murder. 46 year old Monica Moore was found dead with her genitals completely destroyed, her breasts were removed, and her wedding ring was ripped off and found on the floor. As for her husband, 48 year old man, named David Moore. He also has his genitals destroyed and same story with his wedding ring."
