Spider-Man finally halted at the headquarters of The Daily Bugle with a very tired Deadpool trailing behind him.

"Do you ever exercise?" Spider-Man had his hands on his hips and observed the man nearly fall over, resting his hands on his knees.

"I don't have to! I look fucking great!" He wheezed and heard a small chuckle escape Spider-man's mouth. He smiled.

Spider-Man patted his back and stuck out his arm, using his webs to tear open the doors.

"What the fuck, Spidey!? It's the middle of the day!" Deadpool admitted to himself that he loved watching Spider-man take charge  but if the Avengers saw them, the entire plan would be over.

He rolled his eyes and Deadpool and dragged him inside, past reception and to the elevator. They stood in silence, still in their costumes and waited to reach there stop but, of course, someone else got in. It then became more awkward than it already was.

The random guy hummed the tune of 'Sorry Not Sorry' by Demi Lovato which was nice.

Finally, the elevator came to a stop and the door opened, Spider-man once again dragging Deadpool out by the wrist right to his former desk.

"Mind telling me what the hell is going on?" Deadpool whispered in his ear as people were looking at them in shock, drawing more attention. He gave a weak wave to them.

"I'll keep it short," Spider-Man began rifling through his papers. "I worked here and quit the day my aunt, you know, and while I was here there was this guy who hated me. He did photography too except I was better than him. When my uncle was killed he was ruthless about it. I should've fucking guessed." He cursed himself and kept shuffling through the papers, causing more of a scene.

Deadpool was silent. Although neither knew each other's backstory, from what he now knew, he could infer that Spider-man's isn't all too pleasant. Probably nowhere near as bad as his but that didn't make it any less tragic.

"Ah ha!" Spider-man smiled triumphantly and held up a small business card which showed Eddie Brock's full name, phone number and even an address.

"What the hell!? The Spider-Man!?" Spider-Man cringed before seeing his old boss pacing toward them. He panicked and told Deadpool to hold onto him and the card as he grabbed his arm, jumping out of the window by the desk. It shattered the glass.

Spider-Man had trouble keeping his grasp on Deadpool and aiming his webs back to the apartment but he did it since he didn't want to have to listen to any more of Deadpool's complaining.

They strolled inside the messy apartment and fell to the teeny couch in sync. As much as they knew it would be a brilliant idea to catch the guy now, they were way too exhausted.

Deadpool turned to him and put his hand up to signal a high five. With a small smirk, Spider-Man lifted his arm and they high fived, laughing mildly.

For some time, they were in a comfortable silence. Spider-Man was thinking to himself about how much changed in under two weeks. He lost his aunt and his former life, he gained a new family, he wondered if he could call them that. He became 'friends' with he man he was sure killed his lifeline.

Deadpool had his own thinking to do. Unknowingly, He'd grown to like Spider-man but had questions. He knew who he was but he couldn't help but wonder what he looks like. A small part of him even fooled himself with the possibility they'd actually be something.

'Yes! Spidey the wifey!' White whooped.

'Ah yes, a hero would love to date you!  What With your rugged good looks and kind personality, who wouldn't!?' Yellow cheered sarcastically.
