*Gale POV*

Here I was looking for Christina around the school because her crazy self had a craving that involved me to drive her to the next town over. And me for being a sucker and not being able to say no to Christina, ended up saying yes. But only because she has too much dirt on me. So here she had me driving to the school because it was closer to her house and what do I find when I turn the corner to meet up with her at our usual spot? Her picking up another guy. Don't get me wrong I am not Christina's boyfriend, but it would just be nice once in a while to not see her almost sucking another dude's face off. And plus a bit of my big bro protectiveness comes out and I don't like it much, seeing my childhood friend picking up random strangers.

The guy was 5'8" or 9", he had bleach blond hair that came down to the dip in his neck. He was slim and not very muscular but he didn't look relaxed at all, like he was on edge. He had a band shirt on, black skinny jeans and black converses on.

I was watching them flirt when he suddenly dropped down on one knee and took Christina's hand and she giggled. My heart and stepped faltered for a second. Unsure what to make of my body's sudden and weird reaction, I continued forward. Then he flashed a smile that was full of mischief, that I only caught from this distance because his teeth were so white, and my heart felt like it had skipped a beat.

What was that all about? And who is that boy over there with Christina? My protective side was rearing its ugly head again. Ever since I can remember Christina and I were friends and I was overprotective of her and vise versa. but oddly it wasn't over her, but over him.

I was still a good distance away from them when she leans in and presses her lips to his. He stood up slowly, never letting their lips part as they both attacked the other's face. He pushed her against the tree that was right behind them and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

I stood there in shock, because I had never seen this guy before and here they were ripping their lips off each other like they were prizes to be won.

I picked up my step and hurriedly made my way over to them, not that either one of them noticed. My senses went into overdrive as I saw the two almost fucking there in front of the school. I was pissed to say the least, because Tina was running her hands in his hair and it was driving me crazy! But strangely I knew it wasn't over Tina. I was right behind them now, I mean come on Christina I'm your freaking BEST FRIEND for christ's sake! And you don't even notice me walk up to you? And I'm not exactly how you would describe as short. I know you're busy right know but have some public decency.

"I don't think you will be saying that if you really become a friend." I hear Tina say with a breathless laugh, utterly confusing the boy. I could tell just from standing behind him.

"Christina," I said voice clipped and angry, drawing her attention from the boy to me.

"Gale, I thought you were going to leave me here again you jerk." she dropped her legs, walked towards me and punched me on my arm, which HURT! But of course i just brushed it off like nothing happened, and because of my anger. Can you imagine if she found out her punches actually hurt? She'll do it on a daily bases, and a lot worse.

The guy turned around and scanned me, panting and with a blush spread across his face, from the bottom to the top while I just watched his eyes work their way up my body. I didn't say anything because I had basically been ogling him since I turned the corner... well until there make-out session. When his eyes finally hooked onto mine I sucked in a silent breathe and held it. I was angry but couldn't stay that way looking at him.

My mind went blank the second I saw his eyes, which I hadn't really seen through his long eyelashes. They were the most stunning blue I had ever seen in my life, they were.... I cant explain it. They were an opal color, blue and green specks scattered through out each other; not swirling literally, specks of green and blue, but with a shine to them that nothing else could posses. We stood there for a few seconds, just the two of us lost in our own little universe that revolved around only the both of us. The illusion was shattered though when I heard Christina's voice.
