Jealousy (Peter Parker)

A/n- Hi everyone! I just wanted to say that if you have any ideas for new imagines please comment them and I will write them! 

Y/n was sitting in the library with Ned and Peter studying for an upcoming test. Peter was not listening to what Ned was saying about the material, he was clearly staring at something in the distance. Y/n could tell that he was looking at Liz. 

"Peter!" Ned snapped in his face. "Now is not the time to be gawking at Liz! This test is really important!" Ned protested. 

"I know I'm sorry I just cant focus right now, she just looks so beautiful with her hair pulled back. Has she ever worn her hair like that before?" Peter asked with a questioning look. 

"No, she has not worn her hair back before, but please Peter can you just focus on studying for once!" Y/n snapped at Peter seeming very frustrated. Every time Peter talked about Liz Y/n could feel her heart break a little. "You know what I have to go, I forgot I had plans today." She said as she packed up her stuff and turned to leave. 

"Hey wait up a second." Ned said as he followed after her. "Are you okay?" Ned questioned Y/n. She looked over at Ned and then looked to her feet. 

"I'm just worn out that's all. I'll just see you tomorrow Ned" Y/n said has she walked off school campus. Ned showed a face of worry and turned back and headed into the school. 

The next day Y/n was going through her locker when Peter approached her. "Hey Y/n, can I get some advise?" Peter asked. 

"Yeah, what do you need help with?" She asked with a smile on her face. 

"I just don't know how to talk to Liz, I really like her you know I just cant get the courage to talk to her. I wanted to ask her out but I don't know how." Peter said while throwing his arms up in frustration. Y/n looked at him and sighed. 

"Peter, she is just a girl all you have to do is go up to her, and talk. It is very simple. You know what maybe you should get her flowers, girls love flowers." Y/n said with a hint of sarcasm. 

"Oh my god, flowers are a great idea, you know what? I think I'm going to ask her out today, I feel really good about this." Peter said with a huge smile on is face. "Thank you Y/n!" He said as he brought her into a hug. Y/n put her arms around him and enjoyed the few seconds she got in his warm embrace. He pulled away and started to run down the hall. Y/n could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. She knew that he would be happier with Liz and all she wanted was for him to be happy. She turned around to see Ned right behind her. She quickly wiped away her tears. 

"Why are you crying?" Ned questioned her. 

"It's nothing Ned, it does not matter anymore." She said as more tears fell down her face. 

"I know that you like Peter. I've known for a while now." Ned said. Y/n looked up at him and raised her eyebrows. She wondered if it was really that obvious. 

"Yeah well Peter is about to ask Liz out so there is nothing I can do now." She said as she quickly walked passed Ned and headed for her house. 

Y/n entered her small apartment and sat down on the couch. She hid her hands in her face and just cried. She had liked Peter a lot and did not just want to loose him so easily. At this point she thought it was useless to try and stop him. 

Spring break came and went and Peter and Liz were still together. Y/n hated seeing them together at school. She envied Liz so much. She wished she could have Peter for herself. 

Y/n was at home laying on the couch watching television when she heard a knock at the door. She opened the door and saw Peter standing there with a few tears in his eyes. "Oh my god Peter whats the matter?" She questioned him while pulling him inside. 

"Liz dumped me for Flash, I can't believe this. I cant believe I wasted my time on her. She just left me like that." Peter sobbed as Y/n pulled him into  a hug. She could feel his wet tears soak through her shirt. She rubbed his back and tried her best to make him feel better. she sat him down on the couch and made him a snack. Peter ended up falling asleep on the couch and Y/n covered him with a blanket. She then went into her room to get some sleep as well. 

The next morning Y/n discovered that Peter had left before she got up. She made herself some breakfast and ate it at the kitchen table. She heard a knock at the door and then Peter walked in. 

"I'm so sorry Y/n." Peter said in a sympathetic tone. "Ned told me everything. I cant believe I did not know, and then I just asked you advise on how I should ask Liz out I should have known better." Peter said. Y/n stood u from her seat and looked at Peter Speechless. 

"I'm sorry I did not tell you I just did not want to get in the way of you and..." Y/n was cut off by Peter's lips being pressed against hers. Peter then pulled away and took both of Y/n's hands and held them tightly. 

"I never told you this but I really liked you but I just assumed you would never like a guy like me so I moved on." Peter admitted. Y/n's world stopped, she has been waiting so long to hear those words. "I want to be with you Y/n, I really do." Peter said as he looked deep into her eyes. 

"I'd like that a lot." She said calmly even though she was screaming inside. Peter pulled her into another kiss and then she put her forehead on his. "I'm going to kill Ned." She exclaimed and they both laughed a little.
