The "New Shipment" Day always marks the beginning of a new season of Magic Alive. Today is the day Newcomers join the circus and get to see around the place. This is considered a leisure time for the people who are not new to the Circus. For the past years, less and less people with abilities are found.
Maybe it's marking the end of the chemical that has infected all of you.
The Labs call it H.A.S or Human Advancement Serum. It started off as a liquid chemical that was supposed to be used as an optional injection. It was supposed to enhance the senses strength and speed of humans. The story changes every year, which makes everyone think they are being kept in the dark. Basically, what everyone has been told, is that the chemical evaporated and went into the air, infecting only children.
Therefore, it's that stupid chemical that destroyed all of you.
However, this is a calm day for most of you. Take the day to mingle, hang around the Circus or meet the Newcomers.
(Keep in mind, many have been here for years. Mostly everyone knows everyone.)
