Chapter 5

RYTHIAN 8:23 SEPTEMBER 15, 2013

Rythian looked around. He was sitting by his locker like he always did. And he was drawing in his notebook like always. No one was in the halls today. They were all in classrooms early today to study for a big science test. He made sure no one was around. He was alone. Zoey wasn't at school yet. She must have been running late. He double checked to make sure no one was around.

All the sudden a purple gust of magic took his book, put it in his backpack, and zipped it up. Good, he thought no one saw that. He got up, turned around to walk to class to find a wide-mouthed Zoey standing behind him. Dangit.

"Woah!" she said very excited and surprised " did you do that?"

" Um.. I ... er" was all he could manage to say.

" Did you do that?" she repeated her question.

" I.. ya.. did do.. that" he stumbled over his words.

" How?" she said with curiosity and excitement flashing in her eyes.

"Um... Do you believe in magic?" he asked in a hushed tone.

" Well, I don't know. Maybe I do now. It just doesn't seem possible." she answered.

" You have to believe now." Rythian said simply.

" How did you do it?" she asked.

" I'll answer all your questions later, we're going to be late let's go."

And on that note the two walked off the their first hour class.

Authors Note: Okay I know this is like waaayyyy short, like its only a few sentences, but I needed to add a part where Zoey finds out Rythian can do magic. So ya. Promise I'll upload another chapter in like 5 mins. Bai!!! :D
