LEO

The first thing I smelled as I woke up was the chemical smell of the room. The bright lightening of the room burned my eyes. I took a look around the room, it was completely empty, white walls, white floor, white ceiling. I was tied to a chair with real ropes, this time. I looked down at my body, I was wearing a sort of white dress, just like those that patients wear in hospitals.

Someone undressed me. Someone took my clothes off. Someone made me wear this. Someone saw me naked.

I got scared and tried to escape.

"Hey- Shh- Stop!" Theo got inside the room and ran towards me. He was not wearing a white lab coat, only a white shirt, white pants and a white pair of shoes.

I tried my best to escape from him, but the metallic chair I was sitting on was nailed to the ground. I could not forget the fact that he punched me once and burned my knee. I knew he could hurt me a fourth time. I tried to shout, but I had tape on my mouth.

"Calm down." He whispered. "I won't hurt you."

I tried to speak through the tape, but he obviously did not understand my mumbles.

"Do you want to speak?" He asked squatting in front of me. I nodded as quick as possible. The way he was looking at me - there was something different in his eyes. They almost looked - softer. "Okay," His voice was softer too. "I'll take it off now."

He grabbed one side of the tape and pull it off in one fell swoop. I closed my eyes because of the pain, he pressed his cold palm against my lips to calm the burn.

"You're a liar." I snapped getting my head away from his hand. "You just said you won't hurt me, yet you punched me and-."

"What? Oh no! No, no-" He suddenly cupped my face, sadness in his eyes. "It wasn't me! It was Theo! It wasn't me! My name is Leo."

Leo. That name rang a bell in my mind. I remembered Theo calling that name just before I fainted.

"Wh- What?" I asked totally confused.

"My name is Leo, not Theo. It's a little confusing at the beginning," he smiled. "But I'm sure you'll quickly get used to it. Does your face burn when I do this." He asked looking at his hands on my cheeks.

       Somehow, his touched soothed me.

I shook my head, he was not hurting me.

The man looked just like Theo - he was Theo! Yet he said he was Leo and that Theo was someone else. I was lost.

A little voice deep inside me told me that he was telling the truth, I wanted to grab a pillow and choke that voice.

"How about now?" He slid his finger down my neck and shoulders, but I did not feel any burn. I could only feel my stomach doing some weird shit - I thought it was hunger.

"What are the ropes for?" I asked him.

"We still don't know how strong you might be. Theo didn't want to take any risks and so he tied you. I personally don't think you'd purposely hurt me." He smiled.

"It hurts." I whispered looking down at my hands. The ropes were too tight and it was making me bleed.

"Maybe I can loosen them a little." He looked down. "Shut up!!" He suddenly shouted looking over his shoulder. I looked behind him, but I could not see anyone. He did not seem to be wearing any earpiece either. "I don't receive any order from you!" He was completely crazy. "If I loosen them, you won't hurt me, right?" He asked looking at me.
