Zane's POV

I didn't get it, mermaids are real! And now... she was taken away from me. I won't settle with letting her go!

My instincts took over and I swam down. I don't want to lose such an interesting discovery. 

I looked down. Some sort of seaweed was covering her arms and mouth, and her tail was shaking around vigorously.  

I'm running out of air... I saw that that thing was dragging the mermaid to a cave, with air at the top, so I followed.

I swam up to the cave and it threw her on a rock above the water, and swam to another part of the cave.

I came to the surface and gasped for air.

I rubbed my eyes and saw that she was still tied up staring at me. 

I crawled over to her. 

I gently touched her face and took the seaweed off.

"Why did you follow me??..." She panted.

"Because I care..." I moved my hair.

"Let me help you-" I got dragged underwater by the creature.

I struggled as much as I could.

"You thought you could get away easily??" It spoke.

It held me by the neck and threw me back up onto the rock where the mermaid sat.

It grabbed me and chained me to the wall next to it, and enclosed a barrier around me...

It was... magical?? I can't hear what they are saying!

Kawaii~Chan's POV

My whole body is aching... Why did that man come after me...?

"Now, listen up mermaid." Aiziku came closer. 

"Leave my kind alone Aiziku!" I shouted. "But why? I can't help it." He grinned.

"He has to kiss you. You have three days. Don't waste them. Or else." 

A potion crashed on my head, and I fell unconscious. 

Zane's POV

Her body started to move, and freak out. The creature tossed her in the water, and set me free.

He tossed me in the water as well.

I looked around.

The mermaid was no longer a mermaid.

Her body became... human!

All of her mermaid aspects left... including her clothes...

I can't think of this now...

I swam deeper and deeper, and held her in my arm, and swam to the surface.

The moon shone bright on the beach shore.

I felt her pulse. Breathing.

I took off my coat and placed it on her. She's surprisingly small for a human.

I pick her up gently and take her over to my house.

Thankfully, no one's outside, and I live alone.

I have a guest room, for when my brothers come over.

I lay her there. She looks so sweet and helpless.

"Mmmm...?" She sat up.

"Hey..." I smiled.

"Where am I...? Wait... wh-wh-where's m-m-m-my tail?..." Her eyes went wide.

"You're Human."

"What are you then...?" She asked. What a stupid question.

I laughed.

"We're Humans."
