Kawaii~Chan's POV

"Ah, what a tiring day, huh?" Zane asked, chucking nervously. I said nothing, since we were still not at his house, but we were at his door. "Oh! You can talk now KC." 

"Oh, sorry. Uhm... thanks for saving me back there." I awkwardly smiled. "N-no problem! And, I'm sorry for calling you mine..." He looked away. Now's my chance.

"I don't mind." He looked my way. 

We stepped closer to each other. Inches away from touching each other's lips. I leaned in.

"Hey baby brother!!" Someone yelled from behind him. 

We moved apart, blushing. 

"H-hurry Kawaii~Chan, get inside." He opened his door and pushed me in, closing it.

Zane's POV 

Was I going to.... kiss Kawaii~Chan...? I mean, I wouldn't have mind, but...

"Hey baby bro!" Garroth ran up to me. "Garroth! What are you doing here?? I thought you were helping Aphmau in Pheonix Drop." (No, this isn't MCD, but I just used the names. Zane is still Mystreet Zane.) "She's fine right now. Aaron came back from his trade trip in Metelli." He shrugged. "Ugh, pirates." I scoffed. "On the other hand, who was that?" He looked at my door. "What do you mean, 'who was that?' what, do you have, sea madness?" I insulted. "Meh, must have been my imagination. At least I'm not believing mermaids are real." I laughed nervously. "Well, see ya bro." He walked off.

I ran inside, and locked the door. "Sorry about that-" KC was asleep on the couch. "She got this human thing down." I chuckled to myself. I picked her up and placed her in bed. (The guest bed not his bed.... Ya nAstiES) Sometimes while she slept she would purr or mew, so hopefully that means well.

Narrator

Zane left the room. Suddenly, the purring and meowing stopped. 

Darkness consumed Kawaii~Chan as the floor broke beneath her. She started tumbling down an endless hole, with horrible images of her worse fears. She tried closing her eyes but it was they were glued open. Aizuku appeared, towering over the helpless meifwa. 

"You have wasted a day. Get to it, or else." He boomed, then grabbed her necklace, pulling it forward, flinging her into him. "Don't fail me mermaid." He pushed her back, into the wall. 

It hurt.

Kawaii~Chan's POV

My body tumbled off the bed as I scrambled to get away from that horrid creature. "Ow..." I rubbed my aching back as tears started flowing down my cheeks. I held my necklace tightly against me. 

"Kawaii~Chan! Are you okay?!?" Zane burst open the door, kneeling beside me. "I-I had a n-nightmare..." My voice became weak. "I'm sorry..." He wrapped his arms around me. "I miss them..." My tears started to blur my vision. "Your family...?" He looked at me. "My family, my guards... Irene... even the whole village..." I stared at the locket. "Guards..? Wait..." 

"I'm... the princess of the Mermaid Kingdom..." (I changed the name.) 

"You're a princess! I... uhm." He awkwardly bowed. "You d-don't need to bow to me Zane... I'm no princess here..." I laughed, and wiped my tears away. "Sorry, it's just... I've never met a princess before." He glanced at a round circle on the wall, which was making a ticking sound. "What's that?" I curiously pointed to the circle. "A clock. It tells the time. It's 12 AM. Speaking of which, you should get to bed." I looked down nervously. "Can't sleep?" He chuckled. I nodded. 

"Heh, fine. You're the one who made this awkward though." He stood up and laid in the bed, waiting for me. Oh My Irene my heart is running like crazy!!! I should do this in no time! I climbed in with him, and my confidence dropped. My face became a dark pink. Strangely... it felt nice to be with him. Like you're never alone. 

Oh Irene... Please rid me of this Nightmares...
