The Meifwa from the Sea (A Zane~Chan Story) [COMPLETED]

The Fairy-Tale Finish. [GRAND FINALE.]

Zane dove in the icy, murky water. He looked around, darting his blue eyes around.

Suddenly, he saw something swim by, and he started swimming after it. He could see her white tattered dress right in front of him. He reached out, grabbing her dress, It tore off, and a hunk of white fabric was in his hands. He held onto it, racing up to the being again, and grabbed her dress, and it held. Akizu looked back, surprised. He let go on accident swimming off. Zane took the chance, grabbing her and swimming up at fast as he could.

As he broke the surface, he jumped up to the sandy ground. Coughing up water, he braced himself on the ground, gripping his throat. He then looked at KC, motionless.

"K-K-Kawaii~Chan!" Zane brought her to his chest, and started to cry. "I'm s-so.... sorry...." Zane choked between sobs, placing his face in her hair. He kissed her on the forehead gently, and cried more.

All of a sudden, coughing was heard, and he looked at the meif'wa, stunned. "Ack!- *cough* Z-Zane...?" Kawaii~Chan looked up. "K-Kawaii~Chan!!" Zane yelled with excitement, smiling. "You saved me, even when I don't deserve to be-"

"Don't say that, I'm so, so sorry Kawaii~Chan." Zane cut her off, hugging her. "It's.... actually... Nana. My name, it's Nana." She blushed in embarrassment. "Are you serious?? How many secrets are you keeping from me Kawai-... Nana." Zane shook her. "I'm sorry! I just, was too scared." Nana sighed. "It's fine, I'm just glad you're here with me..." He hugged her closely. "I'm glad too..." She smiled, tears in her eyes.

"Nana, can I do something I've been wanting to do for as long as I've met you?" Zane faced her, with a stern look on his face. "U-uhm, okay..." Nana blushed, hoping for what she had envisioned in her mind.

He smiled, placing his lips on her, hugging her as well. Her eyes widened, not realizing her wish came true at last. He broke apart, blushing. "Was that too forward-?"

She wrapped her arms around him, embracing him with tears in her eyes.

"Heh, I guess you could say that this is our happy ending." Zane scratched the back of his neck, gripping Nana's hand as they stared into the night sky, relaxing on the beach shore. "I hope it is." Nana laughed, kissing him on the cheek and resting her head on his shoulder staring into his eyes.

"Our little happy ending."
