Narrator

Zane dove in the water, looking around for the pink haired meif'wa. Not spotting her, he took one last breath, then swimming downwards into the dark abyss. Running out of air, he finally spotted her white dress being dragged into a cave. 

He went after her, realizing it was the same cave of where he saved her. He came to the surface of the cave, taking a breath. Looking around, he spotted a pink tail, motionless. With a small gasp, he inched closer, touching it. It moved slightly. "YOU FOOLISH MERMAID. YOU HAD ONE JOB." Aziku yelled at her. Kawaii~Chan slowly pushed her weak body up, trying to support herself. "Wh-why did you need m-me to kiss him anyways..?!" KC yelled back, pointing her tail at the demon above her. "Because I need the power of love from humans from human contact, so a kiss filled with true love was what I needed. AND YOU FAILED YOU USELESS MERMAID" Pain singed through Kawaii~Chan's cheek as the demon's hand swiftfully and strongly came in contact with it. 

Anger fueled within Zane's body as he saw Akizu slap KC's cheek, her body falling to the side. "YOU BA*****" Zane screamed, pulling himself up on the rock, and standing in front of Kawaii~Chan, who gasped in pain. "Ah! Ahahaha! I'm guessing you felt pity for this little reject." The demon laughed. "No! You're wrong you evil creature!" Zane yelled at him. "Oh, so now you want to save her? After being mad at her. That's pathetic!" Akizu laughed evily. "I was being stupid! Now just let her go!" He pointed at the demon above. 

"Why!? She missed her deadline! Look outside Zane! It's a full moon! My magic only works then!" Aziku pointed outside of the cave. "There are multiple full moons!" Zane replied. "BUT I ONLY HAD ONE POTION MORTAL, CAN YOU NOT SEE?" He yelled at Zane. 

"Just let her go!" Zane yelled back. "Why?! It's not like you want a fish for a girlfriend!" Aziku laughed. "I..." Zane stopped. "Heh, fine. You want her human? Fine." Aziku snapped his finger, and grabbed KC, dragging her down further into the cave, plunging into the dark water. Zane gasped, as he saw the last glimpse of legs. 

"Sh-she's human... Wait, that means.....!" Zane realized her life was at stake, and screamed at the top of his lungs, hopelessly hoping she'd hear him,

"I'LL SAVE YOU."
