There's a smile on my face,
for the whole human race.
Why it's almost like being in love.***
"You're at an unusual state of happiness. Who are you and what have you done with Claire?" Luna says as she points at me with the spatula.
"Well, good morning to you too, Luna." I replied, the big smile still plastered on my face.
Stacey smiled knowingly, "This is about the cute guy last night."
Luna smirked as she placed the plate of French toast on the dining table. "Glad we're all over Caleb."
I rolled my eyes as I heard his name, "We shall never speak of his name in this household again, that cheat." I thought he was caring, kind and thoughtful. I thought he was the one.
"Agreed. I always hated that douchebag." Luna remarked as she took her seat by the table and munched on her French toast.
"Same here. Sucks to be him, because he's totally missing out on Claire." Stacey says as she puts her magazine down.
We ate our breakfast in peace, the little conversation I had with Anthony flashed through my mind. His smile lingering and his laugh replaying.
I took my last bite thinking about my plans for the day to realize I didn't have any. Well, that goes for content. I stood from my table and dished out. "So, what do you guys have planned for today?" I asked, maybe I could tag along.
"Todd and I are finally seeing each other after 3 months, and I'm finally meeting his parents." Stacey says enthusiastically. They have been together for almost a year, despite the long distance between them, they're pretty strong. Come to think, your boyfriend is all the way in New York while you're in LA. Dates must be hard.
"Awwe. That's sweet. You're relationship goals." I said as Stacey smiled ever so brightly.
I looked at Luna, waiting for a response. "I'll be having a shoot today and an audition later in the afternoon." Wow, they're pretty booked. I guess I'm hanging by myself today.
"Okay, you'll kill it in your photoshoot like always. Slay that audition, girl!" Motivating her to work harder.
Luna and Stacey went to their rooms to get ready for whatever they planned. I stayed in the kitchen, cleaned up a little bit. I could just clean up, that seems like my only option for today.
I entered my room checking my phone for anything interesting, it's been awhile. I barely used my phone for the past 3 months, I was too busy sulking on the floor.
I opened the Instagram app, models here and there. Drama somewhere there. I didn't have anything to do. I scrolled through my tagged posts, a bunch of fan accounts trying to guess where I've been the past 3 months. If not that, video edits and picture edits. I liked and commented on a bunch. I could edit my vlog footage from last night and maybe make an explanation video why I've been gone.
I got my camera and took the memory card placing it in the car reader of my laptop. Cut here, music here. You know, the usual. I finished in a matter of minutes, I didn't vlog much from last night. I looked for a nice spot for me to film my explanation video, after I grabbed my camera and placed it in front of me. Luna and Stacey left already. It was me, my camera and the truth in my house.
