"Wakey wakey." Anthony's voice hushed. "We're here." I opened my eyes slowly, immediately looking out of the plane window. The familiar sight of the grounds of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport greeted me. People began to stand up and grab their luggage from the storage bins, so did Anthony as I waited for everybody to exit. By the time most of the people were out, I got up from my seat as Anthony trailed behind me with our bags. We waited for his family to pick us up. We walked out to the main gate where we would meet them, hand in hand I swung it back and forth. Back, and forth. Back. Forth. We reached the main gate and saw them waiting. Rocco ran and jumped on Anthony, licking his face. "Hey buddy."
I walked over to Rachel and Lucinda who hugged me as soon as I approached them. "Welcome back Claire! We missed you." I smiled as we parted, "Well, I missed you guys more." I hugged Tony who came walking together with Anthony and Rocco. "It sure is better here rather than the busy roads of Los Angeles." I chuckled.
"You must be tired. Let's head back home." Tony says unlocking the car doors. It was around 3 in the afternoon. We got back to Anthony's home and settled in his old room. All of us gathered in the living room as Lucinda brought out juice. "Anthony mentioned he has news for us. What is it?" Rachel asked taking a sip from her class. This is it. The very moment I was dreading. It was now or never. They're either going to hate me or love me. And I hope it's the latter.
"Well.. uhh." I stuttered. "Anthony and I have been together for two years almost three and ---"
Lucinda smirked, "You're pregnant."
"How'd you know?" I asked out of shock. I mean, not everybody noticed.
She smiles, "I can tell."
"You don't hate me? I mean, if you do, you are doing a great job with keeping it to yourself. But, there's no need for you to act as if you like me. I completely understand if you do." I rambled. Something I do often when I'm nervous.
"Don't be silly." She sits down beside me. "We love you. And we're happy for you."
Oh, thank God. I thought I was done. I smiled at them, "It's a boy."
"Have you thought of names?" Rachel asked.
"We're thinking about it." Anthony responds, "It's just been five months, no need to rush into things." That means there's only 4 month left till this guy was coming into the world.

Two more hours till our flight back to LA. Tony had to go to work, so unfortunately he's not spending the time with us. Rachel was out with her husband (lets pretend they already got married. this is 2 years in the future after all.) We spent time just walking around and talking. We just arrived at the airport and had gone through security. Just a few more minutes and the plane was ready to board.
"Flight 903B now boarding." A lady spoke through the intercom. We queued to the entrance of the plane as I felt my body feel weaker and weaker. My head started to pound and things around me started to move. "You okay?"
"I'm fine. Everything's normal." I completely lied. I am not okay, my head is killing me, my body feels to heavy and the heat was threatening. My vision blurred, my ears rang. Black.
_____
"Is there a doctor anywhere?" Anthony's voice felt shaky.
"Sir. He's on his way." A nice lady from behind the counter answered. "Can't he come quicker? My girlfriend's life is at stake."
Footsteps rushed, my vision still unclear. "Mr. Trujillo."
Seconds later I was being pushed to a room in a wheelchair. "Anthony."
"Yes baby?" I see his face along with strobe of lights and white walls. "Everything's alright."
The next events flashed in a minute. I was fully awake now. Turns out I have fainted before boarding the plane. "Is the baby okay?" Anthony's voice jumped.
The doctor looks up at his clipboard, to our direction. And then back at his clipboard. He takes a deep breath. Anthony's hands were over his mouth, almost about ready to give a deep sigh. My eyes were starting to water, I wouldn't know what I would do if ever I lost the baby. I put my hand over his shoulder as I prepared myself. "Your girlfriend is fine, the baby is--" He looked down at his clipboard. "In good shape as of now, I advise for you to take a rest. And lessen the eating of carbs." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, finding out the baby was okay made me feel okay. That's great. "Thank you doc."
We walked out of the room heading outside of the building. "I already told mom and dad that we missed our flight. They don't mind us staying for another day." Anthony tells me as he pulls me closer to his side.
"I'm sorry." I leaned my against him. "For scaring you like that."
He chuckles, "The doctor says it's normal. As long as you and the baby are okay, I'm fine." He smiles as we wait for the uber that he has called earlier.
We arrived home and rested immediately as we got their. We did have an early flight to catch tomorrow morning.
_____
"Goodbye. Again." I chuckled as I hugged Lucinda goodbye.
"You be careful, okay? Have a safe flight darling." She smiles as we pull apart. Our flight has been called and we entered security. We gave our boarding passes to the lady by the entrance gate and she let us in. We made it inside the plane this time. Anthony placed our bags in the storage bins and sat down in our seats. "Are you okay?" Anthony asked before take off.
"I'm okay. Just can't wait to get home." I smiled as I felt the plane leave the ground. The windows meeting with the clouds.
