"Good morning sunshine." Luna greets as I sit by the island, a plate being handed to me. "Eat up, we have a meeting to attend to."

"Yes ma'am." I replied a little pushy.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.." Stacey talks as she sips her coffee.

I took a bite of the waffles Luna made for me, she knew they were my favorite. It tasted odd, I didn't like it. "Luna, why do these taste weird?"

She looked at me, confusion written all over her face. She turns her head to Stacey who was also confused. Stacey placed a forkful in her mouth, "They taste normal to me."

"No, it's not. It tastes differently." I pushed the plate away from me. Luna grabbed it and took a bite. Her brows furrowed. "I don't know what you're talking about Claire. It tastes the same way I cook it all the time."

"I'll just eat a banana." I shrugged as I peeled the fruit taking a bite after.

Stacey and Luna finished eating the waffles and I headed back to the room quickly taking a shower. I changed into my clothes for the meeting we were going to have. I think it's about the brand deal we have been negotiating to do. I put on a pair of white high waist jeans and paired it with a light blue off shoulder crop top. Lacing the ends of my black Converse, Luna enters the room looking like an absolute goddess. Her hair curled up, and a beautiful yellow dress covering her body. She wore a pair of white Keds finishing her look. "Come on, we'll be late."

I grab my phone from the bedside and hopped in Luna's Jeep. I rode in the backseat as Stacey filled the passenger side. She controlled the music with her phone. No Option by Chanthony and Landon started playing. "It's your boyfriend's song." They teased as they sang along to the chorus. I smiled, just the thought of Anthony made me happy.

"Can't believe you actually downloaded the song." I snorted.

"Support the boo." Luna joked as she drove to the right.

I rolled my eyes as I waited for the car ride to end. Song after song played and I wasn't feeling in the mood. I yawned. "Awe, babygirl is sleepy."

"You have been asleep for literally 10 hours, how are you still sleepy?" Luna says as she stops the car in traffic.

I shrugged, "I don't know. I just am."

We arrived at the place we were supposed to meet with the brand. Obviously their company. We walked inside the building covered in glass windows. This lady approached us, she was wearing quite the uniform. A gray pencil skirt matching with her blazer as a white blouse with ruffles covered her chest. Her heels clicked on the white tiles as she lead us to the main office. Dexter Kingston the silver plaque read plastered on the big black door. She pushed it open as three men gathered around the table, laughing as to what the guy on the right says.

"Mr. Kingston, they're here."

He nodded as she exited the room and closing it behind her. "Take a seat."

I followed behind Luna who was already seated beside one of the men. "Before we start, may I please know where the restroom is?"

"Of course. You can ask assistance from Lila outside." I went out to see the lady that helped us earlier. She smiled at me, "Where are the restrooms?"

"Follow me." She walks to this hallway, rooms in every side of the walls. Different names plastered on a silver plaque. She reaches this white door, "Inside."

I entered the room, it smelled clean like a newly washed car. I entered one of the stalls, doing my business. I finished and walked towards the sink, a wide mirror in front of it. I soaped my hands, gently scrubbing it. I dried my hands in the dryer, the hot air hitting my palms. I walked out the room after seeing the same girl. She lead me back to the office and they already started talking. In all honesty, I didn't even want to be part of the meeting. It's too boring.
