Chapter 10

Alaina Mahone

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. I looked and saw it was a text from Luke, the boy I met last night. It said,

'Wanna hang out at the mall today? We could like get to know each other better and stuff.'

I responded and said, 'sure.' And got my lazy butt out of bed.

I walked to my closet and pulled out some high waisted jeans, a Trukfit sweatshirt, and a black beanie. I walked into my bathroom and took a shower. I got out of the shower and put on my clothes. I brushed my hair and my teeth and put on my beanie. I walked downstairs and saw dad making breakfast.

"Dad, is it okay if I go to the mall today?" I asked.

"Yeah sure. Who are you going with?" He asked.

"Umm uh Diana." I said.

"Okay." He said and handed me a plate of eggs.

I finished my eggs then texted Luke to pick me up. I texted him my address and he was there within 5 minutes. I said bye to dad then ran out the door. I got in Luke's car and he greeted me.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey." I said.

"You know I live right down the street." He said, pointing to his house.

"Cool now I know it wasn't hard to get to my house. I hope you don't mind driving." I said.

"I don't mind one bit." He said and we drove off.

We got to the mall and walked to random stores. "Where do you wanna go?" He asked. " I don't care." I said.

We just walked around the mall and went in to random stores. We got kicked out of most of them for causing trouble. Oops.

I know Luke and I only met like yesterday but we act like we've known each other forever. I really like Luke. He makes me forget about how bad my life has been and he makes me happy.

"It's getting pretty late. We should get going." Luke said, breaking me from my thoughts.

"Yeah." I said and we walked to Luke's car.

"I'll see you later." Luke said.

"Bye." I said.

"Bye."

I gave Luke a quick hug and walked inside.

"Hi dad." I said.

"Hi. Did you have fun?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said.

I walked up to my room and got changed into some pajamas.

My phone buzzed and is saw it was a text from Luke.

L- I really had fun tonight:)

I smiled.

A- Me too.

L- Maybe we could do it again sometime?

A- Yeah. That would be fun.

L- How about next week Saturday?

A- Sounds good:)

L- K. Good night:)

A- Good night Luke:)

I turned off my phone and crawled under the warm covers of my bed. I closed my eyes and let sleep takeover me.

A/N Hey guys! Short chapter!Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I didn't have a computer with me over spring break and I like typing on my computer but I just typed on my phone.
