Alaina Mahone

I woke up to the sunlight shining through my window. It's Saturday! I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom to take a shower. I got in the shower and let the warm water hit my freezing body. I got out of the shower and put on my clothes then brushed my hair and my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and walked downstairs. I saw my dad making breakfast. Oh right! I forgot to mention Austin Mahone is my dad. My mom died when I was 2 years old but I don't remember her that much, just a few blurry images. "Good morning." Dad said. "Morning." I mumbled. He handed me a plate of pancakes but I pushed it away. I didn't feel good at all. "Are you feeling okay?" Dad asked. "No." I said and walked over to the couch. Dad walked over to me and felt my head. "Your head is really warm." He said. He grabbed the thermometer and took my temperature. "101." Dad said. I laid down on the couch and turned on the tv. I jolted right back up and ran into the bathroom. I threw up then flushed the toilet and tried to get the taste out of my mouth. Dad ran in. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I said and walked back over to the couch. Dad got me a blanket and a pillow so I would be more comfortable. I walked upstairs and changed into sweats and a big sweatshirt. I walked back downstairs and laid back down.

Well this day is gonna be fun. Note the sarcasm.

The door opened but I didn't bother to look and see who it was. "Hey Alex." Dad said. Uncle Alex! "Hey, where's Alaina?" He asked. "She's on the couch. She's sick." Dad said then Uncle Alex walked over to me. "Hey kiddo." He said. "Hi." I said and gave him a hug. "How ya feeling?" He asked. "Terrible." I said. "Aw." He said and rubbed my temple with his thumb. He lifted up my feet, sat down, and put my feet on his lap. I kicked my feet out from under the blanket because they were getting really hot. Dad brought me some soup but I didn't feel like eating. I turned over to my side and pulled my sleeves down farther. Dad can't see my scars, he'll flip. "Dad? Can you get me some water?" I asked. "Yeah." He said and brought me some water. I just wanna sleep all day. My phone buzzed. I opened up my phone and went on to instagram. Not again! I saw the horrible DMs and just turned my phone off. I was on the verge of crying. Hopefully dad and Uncle Alex wouldn't notice. "Everything okay?" Dad asked. "Yeah." I said and rubbed my eyes. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. He set the water down.

I wonder how he would react if he knew.
