Worst feeling ever. Being bored and not being able to act, because of a fever. I have been acting since my 7th birthday, and there was never a day I actually got to lay in bed the whole day. I got home schooled, was acting, had interviews. It became a busy life, but I was totally okay with it. Especially, because I got to meet amazing people.
But now I am sick and I'm not able to go outside, or to meet with friends. I sigh and sneeze afterwards. I feel miserable and my head hurts, but I am willing to drink more tea than I did my whole life, just to get better.
I hear a knock on my appartment. I expect it to be my roommate, but she would not knock. "Hey, Y/N, it's me, Robbie." I widen my eyes. "Come on in, Robbie," I shout with a raspy voice. I cough for a second and see Robbie coming into my room with some big flowers in his hand. "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be on set?"
Robbie has been my best friend for so many years, we are currently filming a movie together, but we knew eachother longer before. He was filming for a serie as a main character, while I was there just for a few sentences. We then talked at dinner one day and we became real close already.
When we heard we were filming a movie together, we could not wait to start together.
"Yes, but we got a day off," he smiles, puts the flowers on my desk and takes a seat at the side of my bed. "You should not be this close, while I'm sick," I warn him with a small smile. He chuckles. "Don't worry, I have a strong immunity." I laugh.
"You're being missed on set, we filmed the scenes where you're not in, but we will need you soon," he says. I raise my eyebrows. "Well, I am feeling better than yesterday, so maybe I will be soon on set again." His eyes get happier. "I can't wait!"
He talks about all the things I have missed, everything that happened. And for the last week this is what I've missed so much. A good friend by my side, who makes me feel better with every look he gives me.
"And I can't wait for our characters to finally have their first scene together," Robbie says with joy. I nod. "Yes, after such a long time they finally meet, like seeing how amazing you can act, I really can't wait!" Robbie smiles. "Same about you," he says with a big smile on his face.
I feel warm on the inside and I don't want Robbie to go, because I know he will leave later. He has to, because he has to prepare for tomorrow and just go on with his social life.
"What do you actually think about our characters, they're going to end up together, like I see myself in Raven Cayn, he is so much alike like me. And I think it's pretty great, Sally and Raven ending up together," he looks at me with his eyes and I nod. "Yeah, I think the same, maybe I'm not that intelligent as Sally, but I think Raven and her are the perfect combination." Robbie laughs.
"I have a more serious question right know," I scrunch my eyebrows and look at Robbie. "What is it?" I ask.
"The kiss scene, do you think it can change something? Like our friendship?" I look confused at Robbie. "Why would it?" He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know, I just thought about it," Robbie looks down at his hands and I know he is nervous. I giggle."Robbie, whatever happens, nothing's going to change, I can assure you that," I sneeze one time and Robbie laughs.
"But what if I don't mean it in a bad way?" I again scrunch my eyebrows and see Robbie has a neutral face.
"I know it's a bad timing, but I have to tell you. Y/N I know you for a long time now and the last few months were great with you. I kinda started feeling something for you." He doesn't look at me, because he's nervous.
"I really like you, Y/N and I want to ask you something," he looks up at me again. His face is slightly anxious. "Y/N, would you like to go on a date with me?"
I look at him with wide eyes, and even when I know it makes him even more nervous, I can't believe what he just asked.
I can't be happier. I start smiling and I know I have to answer before he's going to think he made a mistake. "Robbie, I would love to." He smiles and I see he gets relieved. His arms fly around my neck and I laugh. I put my arms around him and hold tight.
"You could not make my day any better," he muffles. I laugh. "You, too, Robbie. Thanks for stopping by." He lets go of me and takes my hands.
"Anytime."
