Fire everywhere. Everything was burning down, houses, people. It was chaos for everyone. Nothing was seen through the smoke, but Ava knew what was happening. Her bloodscreams were heard through the whole village, but nobody bothered, the people were running for their own lives.

Ava wasn't, she was crying over the body's of her family. Her father and her beloved mother. The only people who truly loved her, she lost them. She refused to leave their sides, but she didn't want to die either. The smoke filled her lungs and Ava could barely stand on her feet, but she forced herself to get out of the village.

She tripped over pieces of houses which had crumbled down, she tripped over her own feet and she even tripped over dead body's leaving her shocked. But she still kept going. She wanted to live, she wanted to live for her parents. But Ava started doubting herself. She kept coughing and it got much harder to breathe. Her vision got weak and she only saw blurries of black and orange colors.

She fell through her knees and tried desperately to stand up. To run further, but she had no strength left. Tears rolled down her face and she wanted to give up, she wanted to burn together with her parents. That's when an unfamiliar figure came up to her. She looked up and saw a face. A boys face with the flames reflecting in his green eyes. "Hold on, love," his voice tried to keep her consiouness. He picked her up, but Ava blacked out. Thinking she already spent her last seconds on earth.

The unknown boy was watching over Ava. She still was unconsiouness, but she was alive. Her chest went up and down. There were blisters on her skin and her clothes were torn, black of the smoke and burnt at the sides.

As the boy noticed her the day before, he didn't want to let her die. Something about her got his attention. He didn't know what it was himself. She just catched his eye. Maybe because she was still alive, as nobody was anymore? Or because she tried so hard to survive?

He stepped closer to her bed, looking down at her with confusion. She was beautiful. Even while she was covered under dust and she could look better, she still was beautiful. Her hair was a mess, but the boy could see how pretty it could be. It was long and curled. It fell over her face and the boy got the urge to place it behind her ear, but he didn't want to wake her up.

He sat down on a chair infront of the bed. He listened to her breathing, slowly inhaling and afterwards exhaling. He furrowed his eyebrows, being confused why he was so interested into this girl. He watched her as he realized how eagered he was to see her eyes again.

He sighed and stood up, wanting to leave, because he got frustrated being so interested into her. But a soft, weak voice stopped him. "Who are you?" The confused girl asked the boy as she leaned on her elbows and placed her hair behind her ear. She was tired, but as soon as she saw the boy walking away, she stopped him. He turned around and looked the girl straight into her beautiful eyes.

The girl knew this was the boy who saved her. Who took her away from the fire, but she didn't understand how he managed to do it. The unknown boy smiled weakly and walked up to the girl. "I'm Peter," the boy paused for a second and was amazed how her eyes sprankled. "Peter Pan." The girl smiled weakly, looking down. Peter Pan noticed she was shy, he slightly raised an eyebrow.

"Love, what's your name?" He crooked his head a little, to look her into her eyes again. She looked up and scrunched her eyebrows slightly. She was hesitating to tell her name. She truly had no idea where she was, but the boy did save her life.

"You can trust me, darling." Peter said gentle. The girl smiled again and Peter was satisfied. "My name's Ava, Ava Stone." The boy smiled and reached his hand out to Ava, to help her stand up. She took his hand and stepped out of bed. "Peter," she stopped him again of making a move, with her soft sweet voice.

Peter Pan looked down at her and realized how much smaller she was than him. Ava looked up and could not take her eyes off of Pan. "Thank you for saving my life." Peter smiled and squeezed her hand softly.

"Ava, welcome to Neverland."

Used a name for this chapter. I don't know why, but I genuinely love the name Ava and I always use it when there's : Y/N, even though it's not my name.

Q: do you use your own name in imagines when there's "Y/N" or a made up name?

Hope you enjoyed this chapter! ❤️
