"E if you do that she gonna fuck you up," Cube said.

"How does she know it was me who did it though?" I asked.

"I'ma tell her. She gonna be hella mad."

"Don't say nothin then."

"Aight have fun."

"Bye nigga."

I held the marker close to Tamera's face and was about to draw on her. She smacked my hand outta nowhere.

"Really nigga?" She asked opening her eyes from her nap.

"Heyyyyy T," I said trying to sound casual.

"Shut up."

"You need to be up anyway."

"Okay I'm awake." She sat up on the black leather couch. "What are we doing?"

"We got some new tracks made," Dre said.

"Yeah listen to what I did," Cube said.

"Isn't that the song me and you wrote yesterday?" T asked.

"Yeah," Cube answered.

"Sounds dope."

"I know."

"Are you still gonna do the 8 Ball Remix?"

"Yeah in a minute," I told her. "I can't believe you rewrote the whole song."

She shrugged.

Dre and Yella were playing these different sounds until they came up with one that sounded dope as hell. We were all bobbing our heads to it. Then our manager Jerry Heller walked in with some papers in his hand.

"Hey you guys it sounds pretty good in here," he said.

"Hey Jerry," we all greeted him.

"I came by to let you all know that the contracts with Priority Records are finished and this is for you to sign."

He handed me the papers. "Thank you my good man."

"Hey Jerry what's going on with our contracts man?" Cube asked.

"They're getting it done. Don't worry about it."

Dre's brother Tyree entered the room.

"Yo Dre Lavetta's outside right now man," he said. "She's pissed."

"Aight," he said. "Aye y'all I'll be right back."

"Okay," we said.

Tamera

I was sitting on the couch stumped, I don't know what to write for this track Dre made. Like the boys and I want it on the record too, it has a good sound to it. I want it on there, but what should the song be about? We've been working on the album for two weeks and this is the first time I had nothing to write about. Anything I wrote down didn't satisfy me; I hated it.

"No," I whispered to myself. I scribbled out the line I wrote. "No. No. No." I scribbled all over the paper. "No! Ah, fuck." I ripped out the paper from my notebook.

"You good?" Cube asked me.

"No. I can't think of anything. What do you got so far?"

"Nothing."

"No one has anything for this track?"

"Nope," Ren replied. "What's taking Dre so long?"

"Let's go check on him," E said.
