Hadley's P.O.V

According to the kids in my grade, this was going to be a great day. Full of cheers, and happiness! I just hope so.

I walked into the brightly colored hallways of Rosenville High School. I've walked these hallways quite done times, but have never found them as cheerful as today.

The principal had us seated in the gym. The freshman and sophomores have to sit on the floor. The juniors and the seniors (lucky them) get to sit in the bleachers. Boy, I can't wait to be a junior!

The principal calls our attention the the front of the room, and we all turn our heads.
"Girls and boys, let me introduce you to Mr. Collins Key!"

The most gorgeous looking boy I have ever laid eyes on walks into the gymnasium. Every single one if the girls stares at him and screams and fangirls. Some even cry. I sit there, patiently, not knowing what to do. I have heard of him, but never knew anything about this Collins boy. I just continue to look at him. His gorgeous ice blue eyes lock with mine, and I suddenly turn away.

Collins's P.O.V

I walked into the gym, pretty much knowing what to expect. Girls screaming and crying. I've grown immune to it by now, it's been happening for a while.

I look amongst the crowd, when I suddenly stop. There is a beautiful young girl, around my age, not reacting. It's as if she doesn't even know who I am. She looks at me in awe, but doesn't act anything like the others surrounding me. Her striking green eyes meet with mine, when she jerks her head in the other direction. Gosh she was perfect. I had to find out who she was.

"Hey everyone! So as many of you know, I'm Collins Key. You guys probably know me from America's Got Talent!"

The crowd starts to root and cheer.

"So I came here to talk about my experience. But first, WHO WANTS TO SEE SOME MAGIC?!"

I laugh at myself and how everyone reacts. Wow, that's all I can say. That one girl continues to gaze over at me, with no reaction at all. I smile at her, and she manages to pull a little smirk.

"Okay, so for this first trick, I'm going to need a volunteer!"

I glance over the crowd, but it's already clear to me who I am going to choose. My mystery girl!

"You, in the third row, red t-shirt! Can you please come up here?"

She stares at me in shock. Some people around her actually have to poke her to help her realize what's happening. She's clearly just like me. She manages to force her way up to my standing point. I can tell she feels misplaced and kinda awkward. What else better than a hug?! I lean in for one, expecting an immediate election, but don't receive what I'm looking for!
