Chapter 6

I never thought that one day could be so magical and perfect. Never in a million years.

Collins drove into the Caroline, which is basically an outlet strip thing. One of the stores happened to be a Chipotle, which I found out is his favorite place to eat. This boy litteraly eats, breaths, and lives Chipotle!

We walked in the door, and I honestly didn't know what to expect. It was small, but nice, and not crowded at all. We were actually one of the three people here.

"Hey Kara, I'll have my usual!" He comes here so frequently that this girl knows his usual. Good job Collins.

"You know what, I'll try that too. I want a little surprise." They both smile at me. I guess I'm not prepared for Collins' usual. I watch as the lady goes down the lines adding practically everything to a burrito for Collins. She goes back to the start, and does one for me. It's loaded and I can't believe that he can possibly eat all this.

Kara asks for our payment. "Oh gosh Collins I'm so sorry! I forgot my purse in my locker."

"It's okay Hads, I wasn't going to let you pay anyway." He giggles. Aww he gave me a nickname already. It's only our first date.

We set our food down on the table and presume to eat. I decide to start a conversation to make things less awkward.

"So how was America's Got Talent?" I know this wasn't a good way to start a conversation considering I've never watched the show.

"Good, it was really fun!" He smiles. "You watched the show?"

I shake my head. No. I knew this wouldn't be good.

"Oh, well now I understand why you weren't obsessively fangirling during my assemblly type thing. But that's cool , because you have more to learn about me, and you won't freak out about my every move."

He laughs. It's not just a little giggle. It's really cute. We continue talking and joking for a little and I realzie we are really funny together, and I don't care that we are drawling attention to ourselves. The harder he laughs, he seems to cry. Is he okay?

"So a litle about me," he says. "Well I'm 17, I'm turning 18 on May 9th this year. I was on AGT and I got in 5th place. Also I can do a magic trick for you whenever and where ever! I'm 6'2, and I have a 15 year old brother, his name is Devan and he is a great artist. I have a mom named Anne and a dad named Steven. They are the best parents I could ask for and always support me. Oh and umm I'm allergic to gluten, so everything for me is gluten free."

He continues on telling me simple facts about himself until it's my turn to talk.

"Well I'm Hadley Thompson. I am 15 years old. Yeah I'm prettu much the oldest in my grade. I'm an outcast honestly. i don't even think I've ever had a friend. My parents are divorced and I havent sen my dad since I was 8. I never really see my mom. She's always out drunk or with some guy. I might actually have a baby sibling that I don't even know of. People hate me and I'm bullied and I used to self harm and I honestly wanted to just die............... until I met you."

I realize that my voice started to project louder the futher on I got into talking about myself, but I calmed down at the end. Did I really just admit that i like this guy? But it's okay because nobody is around.

Collins looks at me in shock at realization to what I've just said.

"Wait a second," he says as he leaves me in the eatery.
