Hadley's P.O.V
I never expected anything to happen to me with this van. if I kept to myself, the world would keep to themselves. I guess this was a different story!
A tall man appeared out if the car. he seemed to be in his 40s. I don't know, I'm never good with guessing ages.
He walked over to me, nice and calm.
"Hi I'm Steven. I was wondering if you could tell me where the Notlock Hotel is?"
I've always been told not to talk to strangers, but this clearly wasn't the same van I had seen before.
"Sure. Just take a right down..."
I continued on. Eventually the man left with a nice goodbye, taking off to the Notlock Hotel.
I continued on home, eventually reaching our grey house. Technically I could call it my house, since it seemed nobody else was ever there.
I didn't have any homework, so I proceeded to where I could find people of my own kind, Twitter.
I opened the app, expecting nothing, but there was a lot. Everyone was talking about how we are having a surprise guest at or school tomorrow for an assembly. Well, at our school
the surprise guests are always pretty stupid. The best one we have had was probably Alan Thomas. A 50 year old children's author. When I say children, I mean like 5 year olds. So I think you get the point.Well, that clearly didn't interest me. But hopefully this guest would be good! Maybe I could make myself seem presentable if it would really be this spectacular!
