Here you were, the last few minutes of your shift. You were lucky that your boss allowed you to change with the few minutes remaining. You hum softly and watch the minutes go by, you had always heard about how Shimadas were always on time and never late. You sigh softly as the last minute starts to tick by. Had he changed his mind? You blink hearing the door open and Genji walks in awkwardly holding something behind his back. You smile and move out from behind the counter and bow politely. He awkwardly bows back before smiling widely "I have something for Y/N!" You laugh a little but smile "There was no need to get me anything. I'm afraid that I don't have anything for you." He smiles happily and hands you a Pachmarhi, a cute little stuff alien. You couldn't help but laugh, not having stuffed animals since your childhood.
He seemed a bit nervous about if you'd like it or not so you hugged it to reassure him "I love it Genji, thank you." He smiles and takes your hand "Come Y/N! There are so many cool things I want to show you." You follow along letting the slightly taller male lead you to the arcade. You didn't have much money to spend only a few spare coins, but you gave your hand at a claw machine hoping to get something for Genji as well. Sadly that didn't happen. You place your last coin and Genji hums going over "May I?" You nod and move to the side and he takes over. He seemed to be focused and pushes the button. Without looking to see if it actually grabbed it he bowed to you. You blink and watch as the stuffed animal lifts into the air before dropping back into the others. You laugh a little "Genji... It fell." He went wide eyed and looked back at the glass quickly "Nani!" (Translation: What!) You laugh at his shock and soon enough he joins you. Though your found time together got cut short when you see someone walk over. You go wide eyed seeing Hanzo Shimada, the eldest.
Hanzo had such a cold look towards his brother that it gave you chills. "何してるの？" (What are you doing?) Genji sighs and you could see the pain in his eyes. "私は友達と一緒に過ごしています." (I am spending time with my new friend.) Hanzo glanced at you before turning back to Genji "お父さんは怒っている、私たちは今彼を見なければならない." (Dad is angry, we have to see him now." You glance between the two not fully understanding Japanese fully yet. You only moved her a few months ago. You could understand bits and pieces but not everything. Genji nods and sighs sadly turning back to you "I apologize Y/N. I must leave now." He moves your hair from your forehead and gently places a kiss on it. He smiles sadly before taking his leave with his brother before you could say anything.
