Boruto stared at the purple haired girl and his heart skipped a beat. He felt his face burn and his palms were sweaty.
She's so pretty, dattebasa...
Sumire payed no mind to the flustered boy as she shuffled her way over to an empty seat, an empty seat next to Sarada. She looked over the Uchiha. Sarada looked right back and smiled. However, a dark aura surrounded her and Sumire started to shiver in fear. She turned back around quickly and focused on the current lesson that was taking place, trying to ignore the death stare she was getting from her new classmate. Sure, Kobura wanted to say she wasn't scared but maybe Sumire was more like her than she originally thought.
_____________"Hi! I'm Sarada Uchiha!" Sarada stuck out her hand for a handshake and Sumire reluctantly accepted the gesture. "And that boy there," She pointed at Boruto, who was currently running around the lunchroom throwing string cheese like confetti, with her free hand. " is my boyfriend, Boruto Uzumaki." Sumire nodded slowly and gulped. "I hope the three of us can be great friends!" Sarada winked before turning around and walking over to ChouChou. Sarada let out a breath as she reached her best friend.
"What's wrong?" ChouChou asked as she offered some of her potato chips. Sarada kindly declined.
"I think Boruto might like the new girl." ChouChou choked on her chips. Her eyes were blown wide at the statement she just heard.
"Well, boys are stupid... Food is the only real relationship you need." ChouChou continued to munch away. To this Sarada grabbed the bag of chips strated to stuff her face, not caring that crumbs were falling on her new shorts. She began to walk away almost slipping as her sneakers stepped on some stray chips. " My chips..." ChouChou sniffled as she looked down at her empty hands.
"Hey Chou! What's up?" Boruto asked oblivious to the chubby girls anger. ChouChou turned the blonde boy.
"You did this!" ChouChou yelled as she choked Boruto. "My chips! MY CHIPS!" Boruto tried desperately to remove the hands from around his neck but continued to fail as the grip got tighter. Black dots danced into his vision and it was getting harder to breathe.
What did I do to her chips!?
Boruto woke up in the nurses office with a headache and a dry throat. He slowly sat up and three figures were in the room with him.
"Itai..."
"Onii-chan! You're up!" Himawari exclaimed as she hugged her brother. A huge smile was on her face.
"Himawari, I think it would be best if you didn't squeeze him like that." A quiet voice said. Himawari let go of her brother and looked over to where the voice came from.
"Sumire's so nice! It's only your first day and you care so much about my big brother!" Himawari smiled up at the older girl with so much admiration. Sumire smiled back and scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"It's n-nothing, I just don't like see others get hurt." Sumire blushed bright red as she explained herself. Himawari clapped her hands and gave the purple haired girl a hug.
"I wish Sara was this nice to big brother."
"Me and you both..." Boruto commented, one again oblivious to and angry girl in the room.
"I'm right here, you know!" Sarada yelled over the conversation. "And I'm not mean..." She crossed her arms with a huff.
"Ah! Sarada! I didn't see you there!" Boruto jumped back in the bed and ended up falling on his back.
"Plus, I didn't say you were mean... You're just not as nice as Sumire! You're great and all but you are a little stand off-ish-"
"And violent!" The injured blonde interjected as he stood up. Sarada rolled her eyes and walked out the nurses office, she didn't have to be insulted and she most definitely did not want to deal with her father's excessive worrying. The other three students stood in the room not really understanding what just happened, then Boruto unfroze. "Sarada, wait!" He rushed out the door behind her and quickly caught up.
"What? I have homework to do." The Uchiha turned to the Uzumaki.
"I'm sorry abo-"
"It's okay, you're not wrong." The she turned away to continue walking before a switch flipped in her brain. "Oh and I think we should end this arrangement we have. It's no use to me now."
"A-are you breaking up with me?" Boruto stammered out in shock. His eyes were wide and his mouth hung open. Sarada glared at him through her glasses.
"It was fake anyway, but now you can date Sumire. You clearly like her." Sarada softened her gaze and smiled.
"I just thought she was-"
"You're not denying it. Trust me, though! It's for the better." She pushed up her glasses and placed a small kiss on his cheek.
"But Sara..."
"It's over." She turned away and walked out the building.
"It's over?"

Woo-hoo! A new chapter! It's been about a month and a week. Longest time I've gone without an update.
This is the last chapter of the book! That means sequal time! Yay!
I hope you liked this book and that you're looking forward to the sequel. I go back to school on Thursday (first day of high school), so it will be a while before I get the first chapter up. In the sequel, certain loose ends I left in this book will be answered in the next one. Like, what happened to Mitsuki's girlfriend? Why did Mitsuki leave? Will they find out who Sumire really is? Will Sarada and Boruto get back together(Duh)? and etc...
Feedback is welcome! I love yall! See yall in the sequel!
