Who wants to see Battalion get his comeuppance? I know I do. Let's go shall we?

Battalion took a step back glaring at his siblings, he knew what was about to happen but he sure as hell didn't want any part of it! "NOW WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS? I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!" Battalion yelled. Countershade stepped forward and cracked his fist into Battalions face. Grunting Battalion launched a punch of his own and sent Shade skidding back. He went to give chase but found himself frozen in place. Both metaphorically and literally as Cryosphere had used her abilities to freeze him in place. Pyrogen then dashed forward with his body blazing and sent an earth shattering kick into Battalion's... Well, I'll let you take a wild guess as to where he kicked. You're probably right. Battalions eyes widened as he was sent flying away. Battalion attempted to get up but Brandish came out of nowhere and sliced through his leg joints, spinning on his heel Brand then delivered a flying spin kick across Battalions face. Grunting in pain Battalion struggled to his knees and sat in a crouched position, though that didn't last long as Dynatron did a repeat performance of the kitchen and electrocuted Battalion mercilessly. Spinning around Battalion went to strike at Dyna but was steamrolled by Seismic in his drill form. Seismic then proceeded to pick up Battalion and punch him in the gut then dropkick him into Countershade's Amped Sniper technique which tore a hole through Battalion's chest. As Battalion fell Aviator swooped down and dropped all six of his Xel bombs on Battalion, slamming him into the ground.  Beck stalked over to Battalion's body and looked him dead in the eyes, "Hey there Bat. We apologize that you're not here to kick your own ass so I'll gladly fill in the part." With that Beck transformed into his Battalion rexelection form. He then aimed his weapon at Battalion and fired the Crash Bomb technique that stuck to Battalion and exploded in a cluster missile effect. Finally Eli walked up to Battalion and stood over him, staring silently. "WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR MAGGOT? TO GLOAT? TO MOCK ME FOR HAVING THE SMARTS TO GET YOUR OLDER SIBLINGS TO BEAT ME UP FOR YOU? HUH?" Battalion shouted somehow managing to retain his dignity. Eli raised his hand cannon, "Shut up you big jerk." With that he opened fire until nothing more remained of Battalion's face.

Eli had the sensation of waking up as he came out of the VR pod. It was disorientating and he stumbled into a table as his he tried to adjust his vision. It came back in time for him to see a fist flying towards his head. Dropping down Eli saw Battalion's fist bury itself deep in 5 meters of solid concrete. The small robot darted forward and fired off a volley of punches into Battalions gut. The military robot merely grunted and kicked Eli across the room into a steel cabinet. Doctor Sanda was gone from the room and the other mighty numbers were still in the VR pods. Eli transformed his hand into it's cannon form and fired off multiple shots, which halted Battalion slightly but not for long. Swinging his Minigun arm round Battalion fired off a continuous stream of bullets in Eli's direction. Eli saw this coming and waved his arm in panic. Suddenly the two barrels of the the railgun clicked out and clipped into a new position, they looked like a vertical straight line across his wrist. Eli looked at this configuration in confusion and tried to fire his cannon. Instead of firing a shot it made a yellow shield, which seemed to hold bullets in place rather than deflect them. Shrugging Eli held the shield directly in the line of fire. Battalion didn't see this and kept firing until the ammo clip ran out, "YOU FOUGHT WELL SOLDIER. WE'LL INFORM THE NEXT OF KIN." Battalion then saw what had happened and that Eli was still standing, with his yellow shield... Holding all the bullets he fired? Eli then grimaced and let go of his "Trigger button" and the result was amazing. All the bullets he collected fired off in one cluster straight into Battalion's giant frame. "ARGH! SON OF A BITCH!" Battalion yelled in pain as he staggered back from the blow. Scowling in pure rage Battalion stood dead still, "DODGE THIS YOU LITTLE FUCK!" He yelled as he began to transform. He crouched down and his hands retreated into his wrist to be replaced with spikes which were then driven firmly into the ground. His legs then folded into his body and his entire frame began to lower. Eli gulped, Battalion's body didn't look like a gun. IT WAS A GUN! Battalions transformation finished and Eli was left staring at a giant 40mm explosive round Xel seeking Cannon.

"Ready..." Battalion began. Eli panicked, there was nowhere to go! "Aim..." Battalion continued as his gun barrel began to rotate. Eli activated his shield and crouched behind it. Battalion's cannon stopped rotating. "FIRE!" Battalion yelled as he shot a huge missile out of his cannon. The missile shattered Eli's shield instantly and sent the poor robot with it into the wall. Eli screamed in pain as he felt his frame snap and crack under the pressure of the rocket. He collapsed underneath the missile as it buried itself in the wall and stuck there. Battalion transformed back into his regular form and chuckled at Eli's plight, "HEH. NICE TRY MAGGOT. BUT NOTHING ON EARTH CAN STOP MY MISSILES. NOT EVEN YOUR FANCY SHIELD COULD HALT IT." Battalion turned and began to walk to the VR pods, "LET'S GIVE THE OTHERS A GOOD SHOW SHALL WE?" Battalion typed in a command on the console and a view screen opened up, showing the other mighty numbers. Before any of them could get a word in Battalion began talking,"BROTHERS! And sisters. HERE WE HAVE A GRADE A EXAMPLE OF USELESS ROBOTS." Battalion stepped to the side to give the others a view of Eli's broken form. Cries of outrage could be heard from the monitor but Battalion silenced them rather quickly, "SHUT UP!" Battalion turned to face Eli, "YOU LISTENING MAGGOT? THIS APPLIES TO YOU AFTER ALL. THAT BOMB EMBEDDED IN THE WALL THERE HAS A TEN SECOND CHARGE. THE SAFE DISTANCE IS WHERE I AM STANDING. YOUR OBJECTIVE IS TO GET OVER HERE MAGGOT. THINK YOU CAN DO THAT BEFORE THAT BOMB EXPLODES?" Battalion leered. Eli tried to nod but his neck cracked in protest, Battalion seemed to get the message though. "TIME STARTS NOW PUNK. GO!" Battalion shouted. "Bat stop this!" Beck called through the monitor screen. The voice was ignored as Battalion began to... worry? Battalion was confused as to why he was concerned for the boy's safety. He shook off his doubt as he saw that Eli had barely gotten anywhere. The panic flared up again...

Eli tried pitifully to crawl away from the bomb. It was rather hard to do when your arm and your legs are broken. He struggled forward but the distance seemed to get further and further away. Eli stopped moving and began to cry. The child could hear beeping from the missile and he knew he had no chance. He was going to die. And he could do nothing about it.

Battalion stood in shocked silence as a cloud of red flames erupted from his missile engulfing the crying child. "ELI!" Beck called as he burst from the VR pod and ran straight into the fire. Battalion felt a flaming hand close around his throat as he was jerked around to face a furious Pyrogen, "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!" Pyro yelled. Battalion said nothing, he remained completely silent. Cryosphere ran past them and began to douse the flames with her hose. The flames faded to reveal Beck cradling Eli's limp form. The small robot was alive but only just, he was missing his lower legs and his left arm and he was badly burned all over. It was then that Doctor White and Doctor Sanda barged into the room. "What is going on in here?" White demanded to know. "Peas and carrots! White! It's Eli!" Sanda exclaimed pointing to Beck and Eli. White's eyes widened in shock and panic but then he regained his composure, "Beck you take Eli up to my repair room. Dyna I need you and Cryo to fetch my tools. Shade, Brandish I need you to collect Eli's blueprints from my room. Avi I need a report written on what happened. Pyro put Battalion down and come help me with Eli. Battalion..." White trailed off, "Think about what you've done. Everyone else needs to hurry! Eli's condition is critical! We need to.." Battalion tuned everything out.

He felt empty.

Sad...
