Guess who's gonna show up? Well the title pretty much gave it away but still, Guess!

Eli pulled the coat tighter around him, it was cold and he was tired. Also it seemed doctor White's prediction was incorrect. The effects had already worn off and Eli was more than a little scared. Life on a street didn't seem that bad really, as a robot he had no need for food but for whatever reason he still needed rest. It was actually rather annoying as the streets were uncomfortable and the people walking past gave him smiles that made him... Uneasy. He decided to move out of sight when a grown man gave him a smile that made Eli's skin crawl. He walked down an alleyway and plonked down against a wall, he was tired. So tired he didn't see the three robots approaching him, "Well what have we here? Look's like a nice cheap bit of scrap." A voice came from the darkness. Eli snapped up and shot away from the voice, but didn't get very far as a hand closed around the back of his neck. "Now, now. No running away now little one. If you're good I promise I won't make this that painful." The man then began to chuckle in a creepy manner. Eli had a vague idea of what was happening, and in his limited knowledge he knew he had to get away from these people. However two of the other robots were holding him in place while the last one was still laughing hysterically.

Eli closed his eyes and tried to block out what was going on. "Now little one, open your eyes an- ARGH!" The first men ended abruptly in a scream as he was blown backwards by a shot of plasma. Eli tensed in fear and started shivering when a voice whispered into his ear, "Don't open your eyes. This will not be something you want to see." The voice had a sort of Shakespearen accent and sounded distinctly female. Eli didn't bother listening and opened his eye's, almost instantly wishing he hadn't. He saw the robot who had been talking to him get something ripped out of his chest, the person who had done this then proceeded to crush the object and kick the corpse against a wall. Eli looked at this new arrival, They wore a red cloak with a hood. The cloak seemed to be made purely of energy, and the robots body was curved in the shape of a tall female. she had a red, white and black colour scheme. Her (Or at least Eli presumed it was a female) Right arm appeared to be a large clawed cannon and the left was normal but had a jagged spike on the elbow. The hood obscured her facial features and added to the intimidation factor she had. All that could be seen from under was a glowing red eye...

The two robots holding Eli instantly let go of him. Eli then took this as chance and launched an uppercut punch into the jaw of one his captors. He then followed it up with a spin kick that sent the robot into a wall. The robot in the red cloak then shot past Eli and... Xel dashed into the robot? Eli cocked his head, wasn't only Beck and him who could do that. It didn't matter though as the robot screamed in pain as he was forcibly absorbed into the red robot. Eli scowled at the robot, "There was no need to kill him!" The robot looked at him for a tense moment, then she charged towards the last robot and turned him to ash with a single shot. Eli stood there watching her silently. "I told you to keep your eyes shut." the robot said suddenly, Eli shivered he didn't like her voice, "I don't take orders too well." He said nonchalantly. The robot chuckled, "Evidently. So what are you then? A factory reject? A washed out Colosseum fighter who never made past round one?" Eli shook his head. The robot stared, "What are you then? Who's your creator?" Eli smiled, "I can answer that. Doctor William White!" The robot froze completely, "White made you? You're a mighty number?" She snapped. Eli nodded hesitantly becoming a little fearful of the robots change in tone. The robot seemed to sense the child's fear and calmed down a bit, "Sorry for snapping. I don't have many good experiences with the mighty numbers. Especially number 9." Eli frowned, "What's wrong with my family?" The robot shook her head, "Nothing. It's more me that's the problem." Eli cocked his head to the side, "Why?" The robot chuckled. She then crouched down to Eli's height, "Do you know what a Xel predator is?" Eli shook his head. The robot then nodded in understanding, "A Xel predator is a robot who must consume the cells of other living robots in order to survive." She explained. Eli frowned again, "But aren't Xels the metaphorical lifeblood of robots?" The robot nodded, "So you know what I do?" Eli nodded slowly in fear. "Then know that I try to only kill robots who deserve it." She said.

Eli nodded again and hugged her leg tightly. The robot looked down in surprise and tried to discreetly remove the child from her leg but ultimately just left him there. "You done buddy?" Eli nodded, "Thanks for helping me miss." The robot nodded and started to run up the wall and onto the roof of the building it belonged to. "Well that was odd. Didn't expect the new mighty number to be so adorable though." She muttered to herself. "Thanks!" A voice chirped right next to her. Jumping back in shock she saw the robot standing right next to her, "How did you-" "I followed you." Eli cut her off. The robot shook her head, "I'm stuck you with now aren't I runt?" Eli nodded. Sighing the robot gestured for Eli to follow her. Grinning Eli ran along with her across the rooftops. "So what's you're name? Mine's Eli." The robot turned and the moonlight illuminated her face showing Eli the grin she bore.

"The names Raychel."
