I sat in Toya car driving home. I looked out the window and she stopped at the red light.
It was the same gas station near our house. It was the same boys. And the leader of those boys. Dominic. He stood there smiling and laughing with his friends.
He is 24 years old. Im 15. How is that going to work? But he thinks im 18. Its not his fault. That's why I pray its not his. Maybe he might still like me even if I have a kid. Maybe.
"How was your day?" Toya asked and I looked at her.
"It was ok." I said and she looked at me.
"Did you at least tell Melvin?" she asked and I looked at her.
"Melvin is a fuck boy. He has been trying to holler at me when he is going with my best friend." I said and Toya sighed.
"You still have to tell him."
"No i don't." I said and she looked at me.
"Yes you do. That might be his kid. We don't know if Ricardo is the baby's father yet. He could be the father." she said and I sighed.
"I will call him tonight." I said and she nodded.
"Good. Do the right thing ok." she said and I nodded.
When we got home i went straight to my room and went to sleep.
I woke up around 10. I picked up my phone and called Melvin. He said he would come over.
I walked down stairs and stood outside till he pulled up in his mustang. He got out and walked up. He seen me sitting on my porch. Then he sat beside me.
"Wassup sexy." he said and bit his lip. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Melvin you are with my best friend." I said and he shrugged.
"So what? I always like you tho." he said and I shook my head.
"No. I don't like you. For all I care you can get shot right now and I will go in the house and go to sleep." I said and he moved his hand from around me and sat up.
"Aye I know you didn't call me over here to diss me so what the fuck you want man?" he asked. I sighed and looked at him.
"You remember what happen 2 weeks ago?" I said and he smiled.
"How can I forget the best sex I ever had?" he said and I sighed. I hate I have to do this but.
"Melvin im pregnant." I said and he looked at me. He looked at me shocked.
"How can you be pregnant? I uses a condom." he said and I shrugged.
"I know. But most of them don't work." I said and he sighed and shook his head.
"This some bullshit man." he said and stood up.
"Please don't tell Jane." I said. He looked at me.
"Why the hell not?" he crossed his arms.
"If she find out she going to break up with you." I said and he sucked his teeth.
"Man fuck you." he said. He stood there and thought about it. "Man ight. But im getting a DNA test as soon as that baby come." he said and I nodded.
"Im not stopping you." I said and he walked off to his car.
