I laid in bed with ice between my legs. They said that he swelling should go down if I use it. I was about to fall asleep till the door opened. I seen Toya. I sat up and she rushed to my side.
"What the fuck happened?" she asked and I started to cry.
"Jake has been molesting me since the night we argued." I cried and I knew her heart broke. She held me close to her and I tried to stop but I couldn't.
Then mom came in. Toya looked at her and she got up. "Get the fuck away from her!!" she said and mom looked at her.
"This is my daughter I have every right to be here!" mom yelled and Toya looked at her.
"She wouldn't be in this mess if you wouldn't have taken her from Cali. Your so-called husband has been raping her for two fucking months!!" she yelled and mom looked at me.
"He really raped you?" she asked and I slowly nodded. "I mean I can't believe this. You shouldn't have be wearing those small close this wouldn't-"
"Don't you fucking dare turn this Shit on her you bitch!!" she yelled at mom.
"Wait do you really think I wanted this to happen?" I asked my mom and she looked away.
"You got to be kidding me." Toya said and I looked down. I can't believe she thought I would do this. "Get the fuck out of here?" Toya said and I looked at her.
Mom sighed and walked out. Toya looked at me.
"Your coming back to Cali with me and your never leaving." she said and I nodded and held her.
3 weeks later
I sat in the diner with Toya and Rick as they talked about me and my graduation.
These past three weeks I have been making up work like crazy. I actually finished it all and now im all caught up.
"So are you ready to be a Junior next year. She said and I nodded.
"Yea. Im ready to graduate now actually." I said and she chuckled.
"So I have something for you." she said and I nodded. Then she handed me a card. "I know its a little early but I had to give it to you now." she said and I opened it. It was a birthday car. I looked at her.
"My birthday is not until tomorrow." I said and she smiled.
"I don't care." she said and I nodded.
"Thanks." she said and I smiled.
"Damn big bank let me hold a dollar." Rick said and I laughed at him.
My smile fell when I seen a face I have been avoiding since I got back here. The face I fell in love with and fell out of love with.
Dominic made his way over and looked at me. "When did you get back?" he asked and I looked at him.
"Three weeks ago." I said and he looked at me.
"You were going to tell me?" he asked and I sighed.
"Dominic im over you. I don't want to be in a relationship with you." I lied. He looked at me like I was serious. I tired my best to be.
He looked at me with hurt in his eyes. He shook his head and walked out the diner. He gotten his car and drove off.
I looked at my food. "Why didn't you lie?" I heard. I looked at Toya and she shook her head at me.
"Cue im not ready to be in a relationship." I said and she looked at me.
"You should've told him that instead."
