Special One (DD)(DHMIS)(old)

Requested by @SuchABooBoo! I know Danny's 'special one' from the third episode is female, but I'm not good at all writing female x male things, so I'm sorry but she will be gender swapped in this. Another thing is that I've changed Manny's name to Danny, as there's a 'D' on his overalls. I don't actually ship this at all, but I'll still write about it!

Danny climbed up the tree, and sat on a branch that wasn't very far off the ground. After a couple of minutes, he stopped crying and wiped his cheeks with his hands.
"Why is the world so cruel and full of hate?" He asked no one in particular.
"The world isn't always cruel, buddy." A feminine but definitely not female voice replied. Danny looked up to see a yellow male higher up in the tree. He was wearing a pink shirt, blue shorts, and he had short, curly hair that's pink.
"W-who are you?" Danny asked, slightly shaken by this newcomer.
"I should be asking you the same, but I'm Dylan. What's your name?" He replied, dropping down beside Danny.
"I'm Danny." He smiled slightly.
"So, what're you doing out here, Danny?" Dylan asked.
"My dad, he killed a butterfly... I don't know why he did it, the thing was such a beauty." He replied, and Dylan's eyes widened.
"You love nature, too?" He asked, and Danny nodded.
"I've never met anyone who loves nature like I do, maybe we'll be friends!" He smiled, and Danny smiled back.

•Two year time-skip•
"What am I supposed to tell him?" Danny panicked, Harry trying to get him to calm down. You see, Danny had known Dylan for two years and he started to develop feelings for him... like, love feelings.
"You need to go to Shrignold, he's better at this love stuff." Harry sighed, running his hand down his... face?
"You're right! I'll see you later!"

"SHRIGNOLD!" Danny yelled as he entered the forest.
"Yes, Danny?" Shrignold asked as he flew down from a tree branch.
"I need help with love." His eyes widened, and he smiled brightly.
"Before you say anything, you're special one is Dylan." Danny blushes brightly.
"How did you know?" He asked.
"Dylan came to me with the same problem."
"So he is my special one?" Shrignold nodded.
"I say you meet him at the same place you first met him and talk it out." He suggested.
"Okay, bye!"

Danny told Dylan to meet him at the tree they first met, and he agreed to meet him there. Danny spaced off, wondering what would happen.
"Hey, boy, you here?" Dylan asked, causing Danny to come back to earth.
"Oh, sorry, I was just... thinking." He replied.
"About what?"
Danny started to sweat a little,"Can I tell you something?" Dylan nodded.
"I-I really like you. Like, more that friends like." He confessed, turning to Dylan.
"I never thought you would finally say it." Dylan said, smiling and blushing.
"You like me back?" Danny smiled brightly at him.
"Of course I do, boy!" Dylan exclaimed, hugging Danny tightly. He smiled, hugging him back.

A very proud Shrignold stood a few yards away behind a tree.
