Chapter 26

I wake up the next morning and mom and I spent the morning with my Aunt and Cade. We went to the court house and I didn't have to deal with dad at all. They finished the papers and after, we went to dinner with Cade and my aunt Emma. After dinner, they had to catch their plane to take them back home.
"Bye Cade. I'll see you soon right?" I ask hugging him.
"Yes. We'll make sure to meet up more often." He said. He broke the hug and they got called on their plane. They left and mom and I went back home.
It was around 7 when we got back home and collapsed onto my bed. I was laying with my feet at the top and my head hanging over the edge.
My phone buzzed and I look at it.
Ethan: Hey babe. How was your day? I miss you.❤
I smile when I read it.
Me: Today was good. How was yours? I miss you too btw.
Ethan: That's good. What are you doing now?
Me: Just laying around. You?
Ethan: I worked with Harley and dad in the shop today so I'm laying around.
Me: Sounds boring.
Ethan: How so?
Me: Cause I'm not with you. 😉
Ethan: True...
Ethan: Wanna fix that?
Me: Yeah! How?
Ethan: Well you could come over.
Me: And go into Lewie and Beast's room? No thx! I'll pass on that offer.
Ethan: Haha... you know it's my room too right?
Me: Yes.
Me: Plus if I was over there, we couldn't do anything. 😚
Ethan: Mmm... I can come over there.
Me: Yes plz!
Me: I mean if you can...
Ethan: I can. I'll see you soon then.
Ethan: Could I spend the night?
Me: Um... hold that though for a sec.
I text San real quick and ask her when she wants to put on the Catty costume tomorrow. She responds saying that we would meet up at our lockers like normal and then go from there.
Ethan: Ok?
Me: Sorry I had to check something.
Me: Of course you can sleep over. Remember to bring the extra shirt! And you'll have to go back home in the morning. I'm leaving school after I get there for something I have to do.
Ethan: Ok. That works..
Me: I love you. See ya soon.
Ethan: Love you too, babe. See ya.
I get up and get hit with a dizzy spell from hanging upside down for so long. I get up when it passes and tell mom what was going on. She agrees and then she went to bed.
Ethan knocks on the front door and I open it smiling.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey. So did Cade and your aunt leave?" He asked coming in.
I nod and we walk upstairs. "Yeah."
"How did the court thing go?" He asked. I shut the door behind us and we both sat down on my bed to talk.
"Good. I didn't have to worry about dad at all."
"I'm glad. Oh! And here." He took off his blue and black button up shirt, left in is under shirt, and handed it to me. I smile and take it from him.
"Yay! Thank you!" I giggle and lay it down beside me so I could hug him. I wrap my arms around his neck and lean on him. I had to be on my knees to reach his since we had both been sitting cross legged. He wrapped his arms around my waist and chuckled.
"Why are you so excited?" He asked.
"Because when your not here, I can still feel like you are."
"If you ever need me to be here, I will be." He places his hand on my cheek and traces his finger on my cheek bone. I close my eyes leaning into his touch.
"Thank you." I mumble softly. I pull back and sit down again. "You can take a shower if you need to."
"Yeah I probably should..." He paused before adding, " Don't you need to take one too?"
"I'll take one after."
"Why wait? You could alaways join me?" He smirked and a blush covered my cheeks when I relized what he meant.
"N-no thanks."
"Babe, I'm joking." His smirk fades into a sweet smile. "We wouldn't do anything like that unless we were both comfortable." I smile a little.
"Right."
"Alright. I'll go take mine, ok?" He kissed my forehead and I nod. He stands up and goes to take his shower. I lay down and start to play on my phone waiting for him so I could take mine.
When he did, I get up to take mine. I kiss his cheek before going into the bathroom. I take my shower and change into a tank-top and yoga pants. I put on Ethan's shirt over the tank and leave it unbuttoned. I smirk to myself as I look into the mirror.
"Perfect fit." I whisper. I step out and look at him. He looked at me and turned red when he saw what I was wearing. "You like?" I tease.
Instead of answering, he got up and came over to me. I smirk and turn my head looking up at him. He wrapped one arm around my waist and put the other on my cheek.
"I love." He finally answered leaning in and kissing me softly. I kiss back and we part for breath after a few moments.
"Wanna watch TV before we sleep?" I ask. He nods and we watch Flash until I fall asleep laying on his chest. He fell asleep not long after turning the TV off.
