Chapter 7~

It was a couple days before my first day in U.A.

"Hikari! I think it's time I got you a job! Even if it's not a job, my friend needs help in her Cafe! It's near where you live!" My aunt said as she leaned against my table counter.

I raised an eyebrow and sat down on the counter next to her. "I mean...sure! But...what about school?" I asked.

"There's a late afternoon shift that she needs help with! It's actually perfect!"

I stared at my blue boots then glanced at my aunt, her red-goldish eyes were gleaming in the sun. Her blond cat ears twitched as she looked to me.

I let out a long exasperated sigh, "Fine."

She grinned. "Alright, my little Lights Blessing! Lets go to her shop right now!"

I nodded with a smile and went to my room and got my bag; I put my phone and other items in the bag and left the room.

We were standing in front of a blue and white colored Cafe, the Cafe was in the center of the plaza that held stores and the market I went to a few days ago.

The Cafe held black colored seats with dark blue tables in the front. We entered the Cafe, my eyes glanced around. The walls were painted baby blue with white trims. There were booths that were colored dark blue and white tables. A few tables and chairs the same colors but the chairs were colored black just like the outside ones.

A lady in a maid outfit walked to us, "Hello Kia~!" She greeted my aunt.

"Hey there Ayana!" My aunt said with a wave. "Oh! Who do we have here?" 'Ayana' said looking to me.

"H-Hi there!" I bowed, "My name is Hikari Megumi! I'm Kia's niece!" My face dusted a bit pink, I don't like meeting new people...but then again the Cafe was quite quiet.

"Ah! I suppose you convinced your niece to come help little old me?" Ayana asked my aunt who nodded, "Yes I have! She'll be working here after her school hours!"

My eyes turned Hazel as I smiled awkwardly.

"Eheh! I appreciate it! Really! I need another maid to help bake, clean, and serve around here - but it seems no one has came to apply! But your here Megumi~chan! Thank you a bunch!" She smiled.

My face became red as my eyes changed to a bright purple.

"W-W-Wait?! M-Maid?! I-Is this a m-maid Cafe?!" I stuttered, "Eheh? Isn't it obvious? Should I make everything more kawaii?" Ayana said sweat dropping.

"E-Eh?! Ah, no-no it's fine! I-I just...I didn't- never mind I sound stupid!" I stuttered.

"Ah? Don't put yourself down like that Megumi~chan!" Ayana said with a frown.

I nodded, "It's okay to call me Hikari!"

"Okay Hikari!" She smiled.

I grinned. Then I glanced around, "U-Uhm excuse me! B-But where did my aunt go?"

"Ah, she left a while ago." Ayana said with a sigh.

I sweat dropped, she better not go back to my home and eat my strawberry ice cream.

"So, uh! I start today?" I ask.
