She returned to her brother's room to find him sitting there on his bed.

A smile spread across his face when she entered the room. "Where have you been, love?" He got up from his spot on his bed and closed the distance between them, pulling her into his embrace.

"I...I went to see Ashton." She admitted.

"Alice..." He groaned, his voice came out with a hint of annoyance. "I'm starting to think you enjoy putting yourself in danger."

When they pulled away, she shook her head. "That's not it at all. He needed me."

"So get someone else to handle him." He told her.

"I can't." She sighed. "He won't talk to anyone else."

"What if I have a talk with him?" Luke suggested.

"What do you want?" Ashton asked Luke when he looked towards the door to find it wasn't the one person he was hoping to see.

"I came to talk to you." Luke stated, his blue eyes burned with anger towards Ashton.

Ashton sighed, "If you're here to throw some insults at me for what I did to Alice, trust me, you will never hate me more than I hate myself. The hurt in her eyes is like a thousane knives stabbing me in the heart."

"Relax, Shakespeare." Luke rolled his eyes at the upset teenager in front of him. "I just came to give you a fair warning. Stay away from Alice. She's with me and I don't want her around you anymore."

 "Why would she date you? She always made it clear that you were only her brother." Ashton pointed out.

"We are in love." Luke said, trying to sound convincing. Though he was trying to convince himself more than he tried to convince Ashton.

Ashton scoffed, "I doubt that. You can keep telling yourself that she loves you, but we both know that's not true."

Luke laughed bitterly. "And you think you'll ever have a chance with her? I'll kill her before I let her leave me now that I have her."

Ashton let out a gasp. "You're fucking crazy."

"Aren't we all?" Luke questioned. "That's why we're here."

"I would never hurt Alice." Ashton said, fists clenched in anger.

"You forget that you already did." Luke smirked.

At lunch time, he decided to search for the golden haired girl.

He found her sitting in Luke's room by herself, absently staring at one of the walls. When he opened the door, he noticed how her demeanor changed and she became more guarded.

"What are you doing here?" She asked without looking at him, "If Luke comes back and finds you here, he'll kill you."

"I don't care. That brother of yours is fucking crazy. You need to leave him and come with me." Ashton tried to reason with her.

"Who is more trust worthy? My brother who I've known my whole life...or a guy I met not too long ago who hurt me and is known to rip people apart?" Her blue eyes were expressionless as she spoke, each word causing more damage to Ashton's heart. Like he had said to Luke, her words cut him like knives.

"He told me he would kill you before letting you go!" Ashton shouted at her, his anger rising to the surface.

Alice shook her head in denial. "Luke would never hurt me."

He cut the distance between them with a few strides and knelt down in front of her, his pleading hazel eyes stared into her blue eyes. "Please give me the chance to show you that I would never hurt you again."

She finally sighed, "Alright, Ashton. Now please go. I don't want Luke to find you here."

"Will you come visit me later?" Ashton asked in a hopeful tone.

Alice nodded, "I'll go see you after Luke falls asleep tonight."

She did as she told him. When Luke had finally taking his medecine and fallen asleep, she slipped out of his room qietly and went to see Ashton.

But when she pushed opened the door, she was startled to find someone else was waiting for her.

It wasn't the boy with the hazel eyes, but rather the demon with the crimson eyes.

"Hello Alice." 

His voice sent a shiver down her spine.
