"So, Mr. Irwin, why is it that you were brought to Sunflower Fields Mental Hospital?" She asked him, looking down at her clipboard, trying not to make eye contact with the most feared killer in all of Australia and most possibly the world.

He licked his lips as a smirk appeared on his lips. Brining his hands together in front of him, while closing in to lean on her desk, he replied, "Don't you watch the news, Miss Alice?" He replied, mocking the way she always called him by his last name. "I killed all those people. I ripped them apart. That's why they call me The Ripper, don't they?" He nodded proudly. The very word-ripper-sent a shiver down her spine as she recalled the brutality in which this beast killed his victims. "I'm scarier than every single nightmare combined." Something about his last statement struck her as a boastful comment, like he was proud of it all.

"And why did you do that? Why did you kill them?" She asked, not meeting his gaze and pretending to jot something down in her notes. She tried to steady her voice to make it sound calm, but they both knew she had failed.

The way he seemed so cool and composed, feeling no remorse whatsoever about what he'd done made her involuntarily cringe. The handsome demon before her had no emotions, or was doing really well in concealing them from her. "Well, Miss Alice," He began, his smirk growing into a wide grin. "Haven't you ever heard of Jack the Ripper?"

His gaze burned holes into her, dissipating any amount of courage she had gathered for this meeting. Her pen dropped to the ground with a light tap as she immediately pushed the big red button on the mahogany desk, which summoned a group of workers to take him away.

Her heart raced madly.

She couldn't understand why he had chosen her, of all the doctors at the hospital, to be the one in charge of him and his recovery. But the deed was done and she had to deal with it.

As four men strapped Ashton into a straightjacket and started lugging him away, he didn't resist, but he looked right into Alice's bright blue eyes and recited a line from the famous book Lord of the Flies, "Fancy thinking the beast was something you could hunt and kill, huh Miss Alice?" A dark chuckle escaped his lips and then he was dragged out of the room.
