She lived near the ocean.
It was a beautiful ocean.
But she did not believe so.
She wanted to be near the city
Where all of the excitement happened.
She wanted to be in the city full of opportunities.
She once played in the sand every day.
She once watched the waves wash onto the beach.
She once was happy.
But then she heard of the city.
And the ocean no longer pleased her.
Once she reached the city, she soon regretted it.
Her job was stressful.
It was loud.
No one smiled.
Everyone was rushing, and pushing, and stressing.
No one was relaxed.
No one rested.
No one had fun.
Neither did she.
And she finally realized
That the ocean she once loved so much
Was once again where she longed to be.
But it was too late.
She already left it behind for this life she once dreamed about.
It was her fault.
And she planned to torture herself for it.

Random Poems
PoetryI always think of the most random poems when I'm bored. Some of them are actually good, so it would be a waste if I didn't write them down. I also think of them when I'm upset.
