I once saw that sky
When it was summertime
And there was freedom
And an ice cream truck.
I asked for vanilla in a cone
And ate it while cloud watching.
Maybe it was the nostalgia
Or the refreshing chill of the ice cream,
But I miss that day
When I saw that sky.
Days pass,
Skies come and go,
and I grow.
But what about that sky?
That sky I saw so long ago?
I think I will see it again.
Maybe not the same sky,
But a sky like that one.
A sky like that sky.
A sky that I stare at while eating ice cream on a summer day.

Random Poems
PoetryI always think of the most random poems when I'm bored. Some of them are actually good, so it would be a waste if I didn't write them down. I also think of them when I'm upset.
