Distance separates a lot of things.

San Antonio is very far away from Tokyo.

He thought about it to himself.

Distance is such a bad thing.

He walked around, kicking the lonely pebble.

He had moved recently, so he was all alone.

Distance ruined everything.

His best friend stopped talking to him.

All because of a little distance.

Distance hurts.

His father was in San Antonio.

He was in Tokyo with his mother.

Distance kills.

Kids made fun of him for having a strange accent.

That was the reason why he was kicking the pebble in the first place.

'Distance is distance,' he thought.

'And distance will ruin everything.'

As someone who ran away from home, he had a lot to say about distance.

Distance separates a lot of things.

It separated his friendship.

It separated him from his father.

It separated him from people.

And soon, it would separate him from life itself.
