Once there was a girl
So confident and happy and strong.
She faced the world with such courage.
But it wouldn't last for long.
The storm hit hard.
The hardest parts of her life began.
But she could just watch
As the people she trusted ran.
And then she knew
She was all alone.
That was once.
But it won't be the last.
