I stare blankly at the wall. Mira and Misa are talking close by. It's already time to go home but an urge made me follow them to the back of the school.
I have a feeling the both of them are not human. One of them says, "Have you heard? Everyone's gathering and preparing at his place"
"Mira, you know we don't have to include ourselves."
"I know that, Misa, but my pride can't take it."
"Who even is the opposition?"
"Same one as three centuries ago, the Under."
The what? I snap out of my blank state and jolt as a shadow settles next to mine.
I run.
My heart is pounding, my vision is black, my breath is in huffs, and I do not know what's going on!
"Hey! Stop!" Mira yells
I ignored her but their footsteps are behind me. I run faster but they are catching up to me. In panic, I turn around and stretch my arms in front of me. My vision is still black as I felt my feet lose contact with the pavement. Misa shouts, "What the heck?! Mira, she's a-!"
I yell and thrust out my hands once more.
Mira and Misa screamed.
I want to go. I want to disappear. I want to know! Abruptly, something soft brushes against my whole body.
I hear a voice.
"Calm down, child." 1
"Calm her!" 2
"Don't scream! You'll frighten her more!" 3
"What about those two there?" 4
"They'll live and forget." 1
"Someone calm this child!" 5
"On it!" 6
"Are you sure?" 5
"Psh, of course!" 6
I lost consciousness.
