Chapter 7: I'm getting there

Astrid's P.O.V
It has been a week since Alvin and everything is starting to go back to normal, well almost everything. Hiccup has been bedridden for the whole week and we are still worried for him, we know that he has been cured from the sickness but that doesn't mean we aren't worried. I have been by his side almost everyday except for when I have had to fly Stormfly and Toothless, Hiccup often asks me to take him for a ride.

Dragon training hasn't been on this week either, we tried to do it without Hiccup but it ended badly. How badly? Well it ended with Snotlowt being stuck to the roof of the Academy, the twins being set on fire, but they didn't mind that, and Fishlegs getting stuck in one of the old dragon cages with a broken door and it took the rest of the day and some of the night to get him out. Let's just say he won't be going near that cage again.

After that I went to Hiccup's and told him all about it and he said he could here all the shouting form Snotlowt to Hookfang and the screaming coming from Fishleges, which is amazing considering he lives on the other side of the village.

Right now I am walking up to Hiccups house, I see Toothless on the roof his head perks up as he sees me approaching. I wave to him.

"Hey Toothless." I say as he bounds down to me, I scratch him on the head before walking up to the door. Just before I go to knock on the door it opens and Gothi walks out with Hiccup just behind her. Gothi nods her head to me before she walked down the stairs, I look back to Hiccup who I find staring at me with a big smile on his face I smile back but then I realize something.

"Hiccup aren't you supposed to be in bed?"

"Nope, Gothi said I'm all good to start walking around but I still have to take it easy and I'm not aloud to fly yet," His face drops as he says the last bit, he really has missed flying. "But hey, we can start doing dragon training again. That's something I am aloud to do." He said perking up again, I just smiled at him and lightly punched his shoulder.

"Why do you always do that?" I just looked at him like he should know the answer, he stared at me for a second before we both broke out in laughter. He is such a dork but that why I love him.

"Well how about we go see the others?" I suggest, he nods so we head down to the arena. We haven't even gotten to the entrance and we could already tell it was chaos, both Snotlowt and Fishlegs where screaming there lungs out probably not about the same thing and we could hear the twins snickering, which means they were probably the cause of the screaming. 

We walk in and sure enough it was chaos, not exactly the thing I wanted Hiccup to see he first day back. I pull out my Axe and slam it into a table making everyone stop. No words needed to be said as their eyes shift from me to Hiccup.

"HICCUP" They all shout on unison. They start to run up to him ready to tackle him in a hug. I quickly jump in front of him making the others skid to a stop. "yes he may be out of bed and out of his house but he still needs to be careful, that means you guys need to be careful too." 

They nod understandingly, I move to the side and Hiccup goes up to them to give them a hug. "Now would you guys like to tell me what just happened here?" Hiccup asks looking around and the trashed arena.

"Well..."

"Ummm...."

"You see..."

"i'm just kidding guys." Hiccup says with a chuckle. "Its good to be back."   

Well hello there everyone, yes yes I am aware it been a literally 2 years since I last updated and I am tenably sorry for that. there has been a lot that has happened in the past 2 years. I left school at the end of 2017 and got a Traineeship at a Childcare Center which I left at the start of this year and I have also been seriously struggling with mental health. But something cool that has happened is that I have become a cosplayer and I recently did a Hiccup and Astrid cosplay with me being Astrid and my friend being Hiccup the pictures at the start of the chapter are from that.

Now that my life is clearing up a bit I will hopefully have more time to write and you should also got check out my new book Titled "Seawolf: Before I Was Me" it is the first book in a long series I have planed and yes the person on the cover is me hahaha. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter there is still more exhilarating adventures and heart wrenching outcomes to come.
