I woke up when Connor turning on the lights. I moved the pillow over my face to block the lighting. Matrix grabbed the pillow and threw it up in the air before bringing it down on my stomach with force like the meteor that hit earth and killed all the dinosaurs.
"Get up!" She yelled.
"I'm up I'm up! Jesus! John Cena could be proud of that pillow move. I think I broke a rib." I wrapped my arms around my stomach.
"Get up!" She exclaimed, "Rachel is here. You need to get breakfast before you hear a prophecy."
"Okay okay!" I got up and grabbed clothes so I could hit the shower.
When I got back to the cabin Matrix pushed me out the cabin doors, "you're going to be late for breakfast like you usual are. Rachel will be sitting at our table and talk to you about things she's seen. Then you will go to her cave/apartment and she'll do her oracle thing!"
"Okay okay!" I said and we walked out of the cabin and to the dining pavilion. When I reached the table a girl with fierce red hair and piercing green eyes.
"Hi I'm Rachel," she said and held her hand out. I shook it. She wore a plain green t-shirt and ripped jeans.
"I'm Margo." We both sat down next to each other. She talked about a dream she had.
" I saw a bunch of people in a small village. Soon an old man that was bald and had a long gray beard ran out and spoke words that were obviously not our language. Soon people were running out into the streets. Others were shutting their windows and locking their doors. People in this town were going mad. Houses were being lit on fire and the air was filled with screams. That's when the dream ended. I don't know if you have any clue what this could possibly be." I shook my head no. Honestly, what does it mean?
"That is one hell of a dream."
"I agree," Rachel said before finishing her pancakes, "ready?"
"Yeah!" I got up and put my dishes in the dirty bin. When we walked away I looked at Matrix with a concerned look on my face. She just waved and gave me two thumbs up. As I walked by Aurora she grabbed my hand and pulled me down so that my head was level with hers.
"Good luck if that oracle is as scary as the last one."
"Thanks for your reassurance," I said and walked off a lot braver than I felt.
