Do You Need CPR?

Rachel laid down on her green couch and I sat on a stole on the other side. She fluffed up and put it under her neck.

"How long does it take?" I asked.

"I don't know. It just comes and goes." I nodded and leaned back on a wall. Across from me was a mural on the wall. The paint looked to be old because it was chipping off of the wall. It had a monster painted on it next to the empire state building. The monster had brown horns and was about just as tall as the building.

"You paint?" I asked and nodded my head in the direction of the wall.

"Yeah. Used too. That was from a long time ago." I nodded. I looked around her cave to see other paintings but it just looked like paint has been thrown on the wall. In the corner of my eye I need Rachel's body stiffens and green smoke fill the air.

God in slumber

set towns on fire

Poppy is out

and gods are filled with doubt

I stood up with wide eyes.

"RACHEL DO YOU NEED CPR?" I yelled out and shook her shoulders. She pushed me away, "you're going to give me a concussion!"

"Sorry you just scared me."

"It's okay." She got up and brushed herself off.

"Let's go tell the others," she said and left the cave. I followed behind her.

Rachel led me to the big house. There we asked for Chiron, who was busy in his office at the time. Once he was done lecturing one of the Hermes kids after a prank he let us walked in. He was pacing back and forth and running his hands through his hair.

"So what is the prophecy?" Chrion asked.

"I... uh... I don't honestly remember. I got distracted on the way here and forgot." I gave Chiron an innocent smile.

"Of course you did," he mumbled under his breath.

"Don't worry I got it," Rachel said before standing up and reciting it loudly for Chiron to hear. Chiron sat down and played with his tiny beard he was starting to grow. He must be very stressed lately with the way he looked. Unshaven face and eye bags. He seemed to be thinking a lot lately.

"Margo. You must go find people for a quest. You need two more people because traveling in more than three never works out. You are dismissed. After dinner you and your shebang will leave for the quest." Rachel, stay with me and analyze this prophecy with me." Rachel pulled up a chair and Chiron went back into his wheel chair. I left the big house and mad a bee line for Matrix and Aurora. I grabbed them both from their activities and ran to the beach with them. I filled them up on the prophecy and that Chiron said that I had to leave for a quest immediately. As in dinner. They all agreed to come and leave for their cabins to pack. Sadly, Matrix and I have never been on a quest before so Aurora eventually ended up helping us.
