"99 bottles of coke on the wall. 99 bottles of co-"I said before a hand was placed over my face.

"Don't," Aurora demanded.

"Where are we going anyways?" I asked. She sighed and shifted so that she was facing towards me.

"So you know how you have never seen your dad?" I nodded. "Well he is a Greek god. You are the offspring so you are a demigod also known as half blood. There are monsters that can smell it in your blood, like your principal, and they will attack you and hunt you till you are dead. We are currently taking you across New York to a safe place built by the Gods that will train and protect you against monsters. The reason why you did not see her true form is because if the mist, we will train you to see through the mist." She sighed and smiled like, "you got it all?" I could feel that my eyes were huge. I exhaled a lot of air and nodded, "Okay... so my mom fucked a Greek god?" Aurora shrugged, "Yeah basically."

"Nice one mom," I said sarcastically. I looked outside my window trying to process all the information, "Wait but aren't they like 70 feet tall?"

"I think its probably around 10, but they can shift themselves to human sizes," she said not looking away from her window. We did not talk for the rest of the ride. It was kinda lonely, but I was kinda grateful.
