Chapter 8: Introductions

I walked to the locker rooms, took off my armor, and got changed. I was about to leave when I noticed that my hair was down. Usually I would have Kat or surprisingly George do a side french braid.

"Hey want some help with your hair?" some one asked behind me. I turned around.

"If you don't mind," I said. I sat on a bench. "Do you know how to do a side french braid?" She nodded. Then she started to braid my hair. "What's your name?" I asked.

"Kya Silva," she answered.

"What squad?" I asked.

"Asteady," she replied. (I think that is how you spell it). "What is your name?" She asked.

"Raven Jackson," I replied.

"What squad?" She asked.

"Actually I'm joining Asteady," I answered.

"Really?" She asked.

"Ya," I replied. Then she finished. I stood up and turned to face her. She was looking at my eyes for awhile. "What is there something on my face?" I asked. I knew there wasn't but I think she went into a daze.

"No. It's just your eyes," she said.

"I know," I replied. "Can we go? I would like to meet the rest of the squad."

"Ya sure lets go," she replied. I walked over to my locker and closed it before she could look inside.

I followed her to where I first meet her squad. They must have been all in one room because they where now.

Kya walked into the room. I stopped at the door.

"What did you find?" She asked the others.

"We just keep watching it trying to see things that we didn't see before," a blond hair girl said.

"Well.... We have a new member," Kya said.

The others looked at her. "What?" A red head guy asked.

Kya looked at me. The others looked too.

"What's your names?" I asked.

(Sorry if I spell their names wrong)

"I'm Tom," the kid I meet before said.

"Mikel," a brown haired guy said.

"Walter," the red head said.

"Jinea," a Japanese or Chinese guy said.

"Demacha," the blond said.

"I'm Raven," I said. "What are you guys watching?" I asked.

"Oh I found this....." Mikel started.

"Wait what if she tells?" Walter interrupted.

"I wouldn't tell. I just want to know what it is," I replied.

"Ok come on over then," Mikel said.

I walked over. He played a video. It was a bunch a ODST's fighting other people. Then he stopped it at the end and asked,"What is that?"

'Oh no' I thought. Then I noticed a reflection in the visor. It was the covadent. I slowly back to the the wall next to the door and slid down it.

"Hey what's her problem?" Walter asked. Demacha elbowed him in the side.

"Raven what is it?" Tom asked.

"Nothing, I just need to be alone. Where's my room?" I asked.

Kya and Tom helped me up and brought me to my room. My room was in between Tom's and Demacha's rooms. I walked in and sat on the bed. I put my head on my hands and they left. I walked over to the desk and video called Kat. She didn't answer so I tried George. He answered.
