Glitch (Prinxiety)

Epilogue

    "Missy! Pranks!" Morality called.
    "Give us a second!" Pranks said.
     "We're in the middle of a really hard level- Noooo!" Missy yelled.
      "Alright we're here, what's up." Pranks said as they came out of their room.
       "Well, Corey is gone and we thought we'd do something special." Mo' began.
        "What do you mean gone?" Missy asked.
         "He's, gone. He won't ever come back."
          "Oh, that's good." Missy said.
          "Yeah, can we go out for ice cream." Pranks added.
           "Sure but, can you guys come into the real world?" Roman asked.
            "Yeah, we have before." Pranks started.
             "But only for like a few hours." Missy finished.
            "Okay. Let's tell Thomas the plan." Logic said and they all sunk down.
  
    When they popped up Thomas was passed out on the couch after watching the live action beauty and the beast.
    "Awe, look at him!" Patton said, pulling out his phone and snapping a picture.
     "huh- wha?" Thomas jumped awake from the flash. "Oh it's you guys."
      "Hi kiddo!" Patton have him a little wave.  
      "Hi there. Is anything wrong?" Thomas furrowed his eyebrows.
      "No actually, Corey's gone." Anxiety spoke up.
      "Gone? As like, he's never coming back?" The host asked.
      "Yes he is compeletely gone." Logan said.
       "That's awesome" he exclaimed.
       "Yes and the kids thought we could go out for ice cream to celebrate." Prince said.
        "Okay there's a really good place just a little ways into town." Thomas said getting his keys.
         "Alright let's go!" Patton said and they piled into Thomas' car.
         When they finally got there they hopped out of the car and ordered their ice cream.
        The kids sat at one end of a table, and Anx and Prince we next to them on either side. Logan and Mo' were next to them and Thomas was at the head.
      Prince was rambling on about how cool Anxiety was to the kids. "He was snarky but acted innocent. Plus he dodged Corey after he lunged at him." He turned towards Anx. "Virge, how'd you do that? I didn't realize he was gonna jump untill he was flying at you."
   "I don't really know. I kind of just... sensed it." He responded.
    "Okay wait." Thomas said.  "Virge?"
     "Oh, right you guys don't know. My name is Virgil, Verge for short." He explained.
      "That's amazing! It suits you." Thomas said.
     
      Later that night after a crazy long movie night the four main traits were sitting in the commons in a comfortable silence.
      "It's weird to think that he's gone." Prince said.
       "Yeah." The others agreed.
       "What do you think happened to him?" Anx asked.
        "As far as I know he's dead." Logan said.
        "Do you think there's a- a heaven for traits?" Patton asked.
        "I don't know." Logan intertwined their hands.
        "I hope so." Anx did the same with his and prince's.

    Blackness, all I could see was blackness. I was drifting through space. Floating on nothing.
     Then suddenly it was white. I could see three people infront of me but the light hurt my eyes.
      Once my eyes adjusted I saw them. The others. My fellow traits from Ivan, my host.
       "What are you doing here?" I asked, cringing at how I came a cross.
        "We're here to welcome you."
        "Why. You hate me don't you? Go run off and have fun without me." I pulled up my hood.
         "You belong here with us."
         "And I have a question." Ivan popped out from behind them.
          "Well? Get on with it?" I spat.
           "Why? Why'd you start doing all this?" He asked.
           "I-I, I couldn't take being alone." I said quietly. "You guys all vanished and suddenly I was in the middle of nowhere. B-but it felt like I was dying. I saw a car and latched on I guess and the traits there hated me. Eventually I killed their host and it became a circle."
     "It's okay." Ivan gave me a hug.
      "We don't hate you."
      "You don't?" I asked.
      "No, we may not get along but we need you."
      "Oh." Was all I could manage.
      "Lets go back to the mind Corey."
      As we sunk down I realized that maybe, just maybe I had a chance for redemption.

    Back in Thomas' mind. Six months had passed. They had encountered struggles but nothing they couldn't manage. Virge still had bad days but he could always turn to the others if he needed help.
    Everything was okay. Movie nights and long midnight conversations with Prince occupied his time. They knew they could handle whatever the world decided to throw at them.
      They did manage to defeat Corey after all.

There it is. The end. I'm so excited to see what you guys think! I'm also a bit sad that it's over but I do have another story in drafts, so keep you eyes out for that!
