COLBYS POV
Wait...what did i just hear..?
I totally never would've thought that Kenz was you know..raped. No wonder she didn't kiss me back. Ugh. I should've known something was up. How do i talk to her about it without her getting hurt again. I'd never leave Kenz over this. Is she afraid to open up to me because of what happened? And she thinks i'd leave her? If anything, this makes me never want to leave her side.
"Wait..what?" I asked Zach.
"Yeah. Look, i'll tell her i told you whenever we drop you off," he said, "there's one more thing.." Zach said. I looked up from my tray, not so hungry anymore.
"W-what is it..?" I asked.
"Well..she has there might terrors. She..she shakes and cries and screams. They get really bad to the point that she won't eat or talk for days.." He said. I just wanted to break down and cry for her. Who would do such a thing to an amazing, beautiful girl like her..? I just don't understand.
By the time we were done with that conversation Kenz came back to the table. I acted as normal as possible but i guess she caught on the something was wrong.
"Colbs, you ok?" She asked putting her hand on mine.
"Yeah, yeah, i'm fine. Just a little tired that's all." I lied.

KENZIES POV
Something was up with Colby and i feel like my brother said or did something about me...
"Uh, okay. wanna go home?" I asked.
"Only if you wanna." He replied.
"Okay, sure lets go." I said. As we walked out Colby held my hand extra tight and when we go to his house he hugged me extra tight too. When we left Colbys house i asked what happened as we turned the corner to our house.
"Look. Please don't hate me.." Is all Zach replied and i knew exactly what he told Colby.
"You didn't.." I said getting out of the car since we were home.
"He was scared and wondering what was going on. I really trust him, Kenzie.." I said as we walked in the house.
"Okay well you could've at least asked me." I said slamming the front door behind me. I trusted my brother to never tell anyone. I know Colby was just asking and checking on me but he probably thinks i'm a freak that's bestfriend died now. I don't want him to date me out of pity.
"Like i said i trust Colby. I really like this guy, you better keep him." He said.
"Are you really trying to make a joke out of this?!" I yelled.
"No just look Kenzie. I love you. Colby loves you. He promised me he will never leave you for this. He said  he wouldn't and i fully trust him." He said.
"Ughhhhh...Why do you always have to be right." I said going upstairs to my room.
"Good night love you too!!" He yelled from the kitchen we were just in.
"Yeah yeah love you." I said.

                COLBYS POV
"Sam?" I said knocking on Sam's door.
"Yo yo, welcome to my MTV crib..." He said before realizing my facial expression. I was confused and sad, i just looked from the floor to his eyes.
"Wait, bro what's wrong." He asked worried.
"I-it's kenz.." I said.
"Nothing bad happened between y'all...right?" He asked.
"Not to me...to her." Tears started to form but i quickly blinked them away.
"What happened..?" He asked.
    I explained all what Zach had told me.
"Colby, don't blame yourself. You couldn't have stopped it. Any of it. The storm, the ex, the nightmares." He said.
"I know it i just feel like i need to help her somehow but i don't know how.." I said looking down.
   After Sam and I talked for a while I got tired and went to bed. Right as I was sliding under the covers, i got a text.
kenz😍: colby come outside. please.
  I did what she said and slipped on vans and walked outside.
"Kenz? Are you okay??!" I asked holding her head in my hands because she was crying and looking down.
"No..i-im not, C-colby." I just hugged her and didn't let go as she cried into my shoulder. After a few minutes of us sitting there we sat on the ground and talked. We talked about everything that happened. She opened up to me...finally. I'm so happy she did because now things won't be so secretive. I understand why she kept it to herself but i'm glad she told me.
   I walked her home and stayed with her until she fell asleep.

                 KENZIES POV
I slept better knowing Colby was with me until i fell asleep. I'm glad i have him in my life. I love Colby Brock so freaking much.

SHORT CHAPTER IK IK GIVE ME IDEAS ON WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN! I THINK I HAVE AN IDEA BUT IDK YET LOL HOW DID YALL LIKE IT? GOOD I HOPE. TOADY I HAD TO GET A PHYSICAL FOR MY SPORT AND HAD TO GET A SHOT IT WAS NOTTTTT FUNNNN LOL TTYL. BTW I DIDNT GO BACK OVER IT <3 <3(kenzie's ex is next chapter omg omg i'm ded)
