Life sucks!

I woke up so early to avoid crossing path with anyone of my family, and guess what? I went for a run!

I don't know where it did come, but I decided to improve for the better.

So, running was a bad idea, because I am too weak, and my body couldn't take it anymore after I run what it felt kilometers, I didn't stop until I reached a coffee shop, bought a warm drink, and started walking, and my legs carried me to the bridge.

It felt strange, so strange! Just yesterday I was going to commit a sui-...UGH!

Let's forget about it.

This bridge was what bound two cities in the past, it was built centuries before, and they said that the rulers of both cities got in a big misunderstanding, so, they decided to break the bridge bounding them that their grandparents built in the past, and so, the bounds died.

Even now, our two cities still don't get along, the descendants of the previous rulers still carry the grudge.

And we were forbidden since we were kids to get near the bridge.

But guess what? Coming here to this bridge to end my life and all bounds, it seemed that I ended by making a new bound.

Resting by the edge of the bridge and dangling my legs, I rested back, facing the sky, my legs in space, I felt at peace.

I dozed without feeling it, because the next time I opened my eyes, it was near sunset.

I stood up and rushed home, my muscles were aching so bad that I thought I would die before reaching home.

Once inside, I was greeted by a full living room, it was full with my siblings.

-"You are late! I have a date and you forgot to make dinner!" My oldest step sister of twenty two said angrily and stood up from the couch in front of the TV and put down our twin siblings of three years old and went upstairs to her room.

I looked around me and sighed, I have a total of eight siblings, three are my step-siblings, the one I stated before and another girl of eight and a boy of seven, and my siblings are a boy of fourteen, a girl of eight and a boy of seven, the twins of three years old were born after my mother married my stepfather, so they are our blood siblings of all of us.

The girls were doing their homework, the boys playing Xbox, and my fourteen years old brother with earplugs and a high music played in.

I looked at the mess around and sighed, God help me.

I walked to the kitchen and looked inside the cupboards for something to cook, and it was empty, I went to the fridge and opened it, and there were only milk and one egg.

God! They didn't even bother to go shopping!

Well, our parents are irresponsible, they leave whenever they felt it, they don't even bother to leave us some cash, and when they come back, they are high or drunk, so the first one to bother them, pay.

I went to my room, and looked inside my closet, I searched for my socks, the one I hide money inside, and fortunately, there were enough money to buy the necessities.

So I rushed down stairs and took off my brother's earplugs and he looked at me angrily.

-"Wha'd ya wan'?" He asked lazily.

-"I'm going to the grocery shop real quick, look for the guys ok?" I asked and watched him think for a moment, then he looked at me again.

-"If you buy me chocolate" he challenged.

-"Okay" I said and rushed out of the door.

Not like everyone my age, I don't have a car, I don't get pocket money, and no one cares about me...oh! And I don't have a mobile!.

I reached the convenience store and went inside, took a chariot and started walking down the easels, first, some necessities for toddlers, then, the food, some vegetables and a little bit of meat, well, since we are a large number, I went for the cheapest one, chicken!, and not forgetting the chocolate, I bought some eggs, pasta and flour,
And rushed to pay for everything.

-"Yeah! I heard it too, and now they are searching for part timers to work in!" The lady said before giving money to the cashier.

-"So you think that the bakery will close if no one offers to work?" The cashier asked again.

-"Who will go work there after hearing that some guy killed a worker just to take his money? That place is dangerous, and they start work at 4am!" The lady said and walked out with her groceries.

I payed for the groceries and walked out, the way home seemed far, I have a job to attend by 10 pm, so I have to hurry, feed them and put them to their beds and go work.

I rushed home, and once I opened the door, I found my fourteen years old brother waiting by the door.

-"God! You scared me!" I huffed and walked inside.

-"Where's my chocolate?" He asked following me to the kitchen.

I put the bags on the counter and looked at him.

-"When did they go?" I asked seriously.

-"Around 8am, and they took luggage with them, it seems like they won't be coming after a week or so" he said annoyed.

I gave him the chocolate and watched his face brighten and walked off with a thanks.

I started preparing the meals of the toddlers, and then asked the girls to feed them, I started the dinner, but my stepsister of twenty two walked out before eating, so I served the dinner and went to take a shower.

Once in the bathroom, I watched my looks for the first time since yesterday, and I looked at the bruises that I got yesterday from my stepfather.

My stepsister admitted that she is going to live with her boyfriend, I got so angry, leaving me alone? How am I to deal with that dysfunctional family alone? I walk out of my room angry and bumped into my drunk stepfather, and he gave me some bruises, so I rushed out of the house to the bridge to end up all the pain, to end up my...God!

I took a shower, changed my clothes, and went downstairs, the others finished eating, the toddlers were asleep, I took them up to the girls room and put them in their little bed.

I returned down, washed the dishes and cleaned around and sent everyone to their beds.

After making sure everyone was asleep...except the teenage one, I asked him to take care and took my hoody and walked out to work.

I work at the gaz station, from 10 to 2am, and I don't get payed much, but the tips I get helps a lot.

By 2am, I went to serve the last costumer of my shift and were both surprised when the window rolled down.

-"So you work here?" He said surprised.

Our expressions mirrored each other, it was the bridge boy from that night.
